    Disappointed

By Sasse on Jul 31, 2021

Based on reviews and the wonderful mix of ingredients in this product, I was looking forward to this becoming the main offering for my feathered friends. While the blend is one of the best I've found, unfortunately, I also found bugs flying around inside the bag. Perhaps the quality control issue is unique to the 20 pound bag I purchased, but I am hesitant to try it again even with the 5 pound bag.

    Birds loved it

By Shopper on Apr 5, 2021

The birds in my neighborhood loved this food, but it didn't seem to attract woodpeckers--and I have several here. They seem to only come for suet. This is a great blend, but too expensive for me to keep it in rotation!

    Best woodpecker food

By BugsysMom on Mar 12, 2021

Ordering again. Had new birds at the feeder that have never come before. Purple Finches, Red-Bellied Woodpeckers, Downy Woodpeckers, Bluebirds all came to my window feeders. Birds that usually don't visit feeders. Yellow Rumped Warblers, Goldfinches. Looks better than the last trail mix I bought!!

I'm consistently pleased with the quality of this food. It smells and looks better than the granola I eat.

    Smells delicious

By MNBirdNerd on Jan 3, 2021

This looks and smells wonderful, and the birds absolutely love it. I credit this bird food to getting hairy woodpeckers back to the feeder and seeing a pileated woodpecker do a fly-by. Lots of white and red-breasted nuthatches and chickadees in between.

    Birds Love It!

By Sunshine on Jan 28, 2021

We have birds year round so I like to help them thru the winter season by providing some special food for them. As soon as I refill the feeders they come for their feast

Best for Nuthatches, Woodpeckers, Titmice, and Chicadees

By Dale on Dec 30, 2020

This is the first year I've had nuthatches at my feeders on a regular basis and I believe it's because of this seed.

    Best Bird Seed Ever

By morningperson on Mar 24, 2020

I've been feeding birds for over 40 years and never knew how important the seed was until now. I always thought sunflower was the best and cracked corn for the ground feeders until I bought this. I've had Hairy, Downy and Red Bellied woodpeckers and nuthatches visiting all winter, along with two pairs of cardinals and white throated sparrows, the loyal chickadees and titmice, and a gang of blue jays head in daily for a snack on the peanuts. Best of all, the house sparrows for the most part leave it alone. My 4 instead of 5 stars is because the raisins in the mix clump together and clog my feeder which is a Yankee Droll feeder, also the best I've ever had , that spins off the squirrels, making I've been feeding birds for over 40 years and never knew how important the seed was until now. So I won't give up the feeder for the food. And I won't give up Wild Delight for Woodpeckers etc. So I dump the bag of feed in a pot and painstakingly pick out all the raisins I can find before filling the feeder. It's tedious, but less tedious than having to dump and the feeder to unclog the feeder holes. It's all worth it for the birds though, that clearly love this food, and because I Iove the birds. I just wish Wild Delight would read this review and nix the raisins. Then this food would be the absolute best. Nevertheless, the pleasure my birds have given me during this difficult winter has been worth the trouble and worth the price of this bird food. … more
