Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Advantage 11

I've used this for 25 years and never had a problem with fleas. It is compatable with the advantage ll for dogs. . Frontline stopped working years ago but this is all I use now. Don't understand why people says it doesn't work. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats that go in and out and never had a flea infestation. If cats are full of fleas make sure you comb them well to get them off then apply. Should be used before the flea season starts for best results. Remember the fleas have a cycle so give it a chance to work.

Like Advantage II

This flea treatment is perfect for small cats. We use the larger size for Been using Advantage II for many years on my cats. I like that they have the small size for our little cat only 8 pounds. We use the larger size on our 10 pound cat also. This product works great. We’ve not had any problems with fleas since using Advantage. It’s easy to apply and our cats have never had any adverse reactions to it. The Chewy price is great too. Have auto ship set up so never need to worry about having it when it’s time to treat my cats.

your mileage may vary

it seemed to work pretty well at first, but the fleas in new orleans are brutal. one of our cats will run out the door about once a week, and we always get him within a few minutes. doesn't matter-- both cats and house are COVERED in fleas even with combing and giving them more meds a few weeks later. if you live somewhere where the fleas aren't too bad, it will probably work just fine. may just have to stick to seresto collars.

Not that effective.

I bought this for my two cats & my shorthaired tabby cat is STILL itching fiercely after having this on for at least a week! Longhaired cat was not getting eaten alive as much as my poor tabby. I am going to get something else directly from my vet next time.

Effective and Well Tolersted

This is my go-to product when the fleas threaten to take over. The house we rent previously had cats inside and out. The fleas initially were overwhelming our indoor cats. We finally had to dose our cats 7 days apart before settling into the monthly routine. All our cats barely register when we apply their monthly dose. I know that some cats will react strongly and even get sick, but in the 2 decsdes we've been rehoming stray and dumped cats, none of them have ever gotten sick from the application of this product. Some of our cats were dealong with other issues but still tolerated this product well. I can recommend it's worth a try if you're willing to stick to 3-4 monthly application schedule to break the flea life cycle.

Too expensive

I couldn't give you 5 stars only because of the price. I am caring for many cats including ferals on a fixed income, makes it tough to make ends meet. Aside from the price, you have done your usual outstanding job.

Flea and ticks

Catmimi had applied the advantage, two days later I saw her scratching again. I think this medication does have certain effect but not last long.

Did Not Work !

We do not have fleas anywhere else except on our cat and 10 days after treatment I am still finding full grown fleas actively crawling on and biting her. Also it gave her diarrhea which was not fun for anyone. I have used other products that were immediately effective. Someone thought I was just being cheap but no it actually worked best.

Not for ticks

Unfortunately this is only for fleas & not ticks, my error, I was searching flea & tick medicine and didn’t look close enough
