Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.
I have been rotating flea treatments for my 3 cats since none seem to work anymore, it seems fleas have become resistant. I noticed a small improvement for 2-3 days after applying Advantage, then all 3 cats were scratching again like crazy. I am at my wits end and don't know if anything works anymore. I just ordered a different brand, hoping it works better than Advantage. All of them are pretty expensive, I wouldn't mind if one of them only worked. Sigh...
i’ve tried using this product on/off for months now. every time i think it’s working and the fleas are finally gone, there’s always re-infestation. i’ve tried baths, treatment, nonstop cleaning, and thought i was finally seeing progress. these stopped working on our cats, so it’s time to keep looking for a solution that’ll actually work to keep the fleas gone and my cat babies comfortable.
This is the first time since 2006 that my dog and cat got fleas. One month ago applied this product. 2 weeks later she still has fleas. So I put another application on her. Still has them. We are going to the doggy doctor tomorrow to get a prescription cat flea medicine. I am out $50.00 on this product plus the $50.00 office visit tomorrow.
I have noticed that this formula has become less effective over the past 6 to 8 months. One treatment will now last about 2.5 weeks. I have used this brand on my cats and dog for years with great results. But now I will be looking for another product.
My vet recommended this product so I bought it and am very happy. However, this wasn't the first time. My cats aren't thrilled about getting it but again it works!
Have 6 but only 2 go outside briefly a couple times a week. I give Revolution+ to the 2 who spend time outside for other parasites like ticks and mites, but give this to the indoor cats to keep them and the house flea free. Most importantly because I have an FIV cat with skin issues. Everyone seems to be doing well with this treatment and affordability is a major issue when you've taken in 6 cats.
I use on 2 big boy feral cats. However I do wish they would make flea & tick spot treatment for cats. Not just for Fleas.
I can not imagine how justified it is to price the way its being done, without ending in changing with increase.
I am amazed at how easy it is to find what I need for my pet and get it delivered to my door. The service is amazingly easy and delivery is really fast. I've been using the repeat order service for cat food, and I never have to think about running out. Love it all.
Been using this product off and on for years for both cats and ferrets. It has always worked wonders. However I have been battling fleas for the last 3 months iv been using this product and the fleas are only getting worse. Completely ineffective. I dont know what they changed but they need to change it back.
