  • Not so great for us

    By on

My goldendoodle puppy wouldn't hardly have anything to do with this treat dispenser. And when he did the trats were difficult to get out so he didn't get any. My (almost) 3 yr old golden retriever took it and played around with it but he couldn't even get the treats to come out. So he ended up chewing up the toy and I had to throw it away. Waste of $5. Would be better if treats actually came out.

  • Busy Buddy that doesn't really keep my puppy busy

    By on

I recently got a small puppy and so we purchased some new puppy chew toys. The directions for this one are simple enough, put some kibble or treats in the bowl shaped ends and then screw them together. At first the pup had a hard time getting kibble out, so I loosened it, and it made the kibble fall out too easily. We have other busy buddy toys we prefer to this one. I will say my 2 year old lab loves to play with this because it is about the size of a tennis ball and he is pretty ball crazed. We ordered the small size.

  • Excellent...

My three-month-old Havanese puppy loves this. She doesn't like the regular Kongs yet since I think that it takes too much effort to keep her interest. These are easy for her to maneuver at her developmental level and I really like how you can choose the size of the opening for different food sized and abilities. Durable and easy to clean. Great product.

  • She likes it!

Treats are a big incentive for my tiny English puppy, so she worked at it until she got every small piece we put in there. Much better than the Kong version. I like that you can increase the level of difficulty to make getting the treats more of a challenge.

  • Perfect for new puppy

    By on

This was perfect for our new 8 week old puppy. It helped slow him down and introduced him to how "smart" toys work. We tried another smart toy right away but it was too difficult for him and he soon lost interest. The Twist 'n Treat toy is wonderful in that you can choose the degree of difficulty based on how tightly you screw the sides together. 3 weeks later and our pup still loves chasing his dinner in this toy!

  • Not Super Impressed

    By on

This toy is cute and fun. But the size is a little awkward. I tried a few types of treats and none of them seemed to work well. Also, it is not durable. My 15 lbs Beagle started breaking chunks off within a few days. It was fun while it lasted but I wish I had bought a different toy.

  • Dog loves it!

My dog figured out how to get his treats out of this ball very quickly. He seems to enjoy rolling it around. It is made of high quality rubber. He has NOT shredded it up by gnawing on it.

  • Useful to occupy the puppy

An it also slows down her eating. When her kibble allotment was increased by 1/2 cup per day, I struck with her food allotment at meal times and put the extra 1/2 cup in this.

  • Challenging and slows down eating

    By on

The Twist and Treat toy was originally purchased as a challenge to keep our puppy busy. We also use it to put some of it's food in to slow down the eating. Works great and highly recommend. Strong material. Can adjust the difficulty of getting at the food or treats to suit the puppy or the size of treats.

  • Keeps 'Em Busy!

I wasn't sure this toy would occupy my 9 month old Havanese for very long. I was mistaken! He loves this Twist 'n Treat Dog Toy. I have to use a little larger treats than puppy kibble though, because the small pieces fall out.
