  • My Cat's Favorite Toy for Solo Play

What can I say that could add to what other reviewers have said already? Nothing, except that my cat loves these too! The cheapest toys are often the best. The simplicity of this toy is the sheer beauty of it. They're lightweight plastic so they bounce unexpectedly and it is that quality that keeps the cat interested. There's nothing cuter than seeing my girl bring me a colorful spring as a gift! And they still work even after a clumsy human [me] comes along and steps on them! I have given these to other people with cats and they seem to be universally enjoyed by the feline community. Come on people, look at the price! Just add it to your cart. Your wallet won't care and your cat will appreciate What can I say that could add to what other reviewers have said already? Nothing, except that my cat loves these too! It's all true. Every word. I am thrilled. Caravaggio is thrilled. He nudges me when he can't amuse himself anymore or his step-sister has eviiscerated all da flying birds never giving him a shot at capturing da "prey." A 17ft wood floored hallway becomes his private springs ally. Roll up the runners, clear the deck, throw a spring and the David Beckham of springs is off. Pure joy for us all. You really need uncarpeted space for these to have maximum effect. Yes, the springs go under everything and tangle in anything. When there's silence I will find Vaggi sitting vigil on the very spot he last saw a spring. It's a ritual now to see me, flashlight in hand, crawling into the "killing fields It's all true. It's a ritual now to see me, flashlight in hand, crawling into the "killing fields of springs" on a search and rescue. Pool noodles will be ending that ritual today. They can also be easily sanitized should there be any parasite-fungus-bacteria thing running amuck. We are deep in the ringworm nightmare. Remember, cats have terrible close range vision. It's the sound that gets them going.them.Should you find your cat befuddled with a spring under its nose, tap the floor. Manufacturer should stop making the yellow springs. They never seem to see the color. … more

  • My kittens love this toy

    By on

One of my kittens, Dumpling, goes nuts for this toy -- but in sporadic intervals. From a human perspective, there's not much for us to get excited over, but boy oh boy do kittens love it. The best way to get them to interact and get out their energy is to hide these. I have found putting them in cardboard boxes so they make noise as they're batted about is super appealing to cats. My cats like to hunt for their toys, which is awesome for them and terrible for me when I accidentally step on one! Good thing they're super cheap.

  • The Favorite Toy of Our Shy Girl

    By on

Of my two cats (brother and sister) the female is a small girl and very reserved. The springs bring her to life and she loves to play with them solo. At the end of the day I don't know where they go and this has prompted buying these a number of time. I expect we'll find them all in some secret hiding place if we ever relocate. She gets a lot of exercise chasing the springs and will play for a very long time. If you want to perk her up just toss a spring! They are a great value as well.

  • Funniest little cheap thing

My son's kitten now 11 months got 2 bags if these a few months ago. I did not think they could be too much excitement for him but Oh, where I wrong... He LOVES them, runs around with them in his mouth and hides them. They works best on tile or wood floors... you can throw them, blow on them, put them on a string, atound his tail, around patchment paper... the cat is "flying" after them, high and low. Low price, but very high amusement value!!! The only issue I have is that they "disappear", under furnitures =)) in furnitures, behind cushions. In cracks...so I am now buying a few extra bags =))

  • Best toys ever!

    By on

My kittens, 3 months old now, absolutely love this toy! They have been the favorite since they first came to us at 11 weeks. These springs were included in the cat care package we received when taking these kitties home from the shelter, and I bought more so they can keep playing while I fish the originals out from under the couch and behind the curtains! Cat toys can be very subjective, I understand. In our household, these are #1! And you can't beat the price.

  • I don't understand, but she loves them

    By on

They roll! They bounce! They're easy to carry! I'm not really sure why my cat's favorite toy is a colorful spring, but with the amount of springs you get for the price, I can't complain. My cat often prefers these over catnip mice - maybe because they roll on their own? And she often brings them to me so I can throw them for her. With 10 in a pack, I probably won't need to reorder soon, but if I ever ran out of these things I'd order again in a heartbeat.

  • BEST TOY EVER, (except the ones I make myself)

    By on

My Pudge just loves these things. He picks them up very carefully in his mouth and carries them around, plays a while, then carries them off somewhere else. Unfortunately he is also very good at losing them. I'm grateful the price is so low because his eyes just light up when he sees them. AND they don't hurt much when you step on them. Every chewy order ends up including these and Sheba treat sticks. As a side note, most of my other cats could care less about them unless Pudge is playing with them.

  • Unsensational.

    By on

I read that cats like to carry these around and had high hopes since one of my cats loves to carry his stuffed mice around. Unfortunately he found the box things were shipped in more interesting than these toys- he has played in that for a few hours. The springs? He looked at them and wandered off. They don't bounce well, on carpet or on my kitchen floor. They just fall over and lie there. At best they can roll, but neither of my cats have any interest in these.

  • So simple, but my cat loves them!

    By on

If your cat is at minimum the type who likes objects light enough for them to manipulate, these are going to become their new favorite thing I bet. I wasn't super sure about these because the idea seems so simple.. the reviews were glowing enough that I gave it a go. Just watching him slap a paw down on it and send it sproinging away a few times was enough to know he loved them! It has been a few weeks now. These things have ended up all over the house and he always seems surprised by how they move.
