I got these for my kitties for Christmas. I was concerned about them chewing the ends off but they just bat them around so they've been wonderful. I understand all the toys need to be supervised but I have so many toys and five cats I'm not able to pick them up every time I leave so I try to get ones that are as safe as possible for them. And they love batting these around on the kitchen floor.
Yato Has Gone Crazy

My cat has gone absolutely bonkers over these plastic springs. I set up a little toy box in the living room where I put all the toys that I have collected from various hiding spots throughout my apartment to make them easier for him to play with. He goes for the springs first, every time. Loses one underneath the couch, comes back for another. It is a hassle to fetch them from beneath the couch though (he lets me know when they're all gone by reaching underneath himself). Overall, these toys provide hours of play.

These are endlessly fascinating for our kitten: fun to batt back and forth, fun to roll and the pounce on, fun to carry his spoils around, fun to chase into a corner under the couch, fun to discover hidden in that same corner days later and do it all over again. For us, they are also great: price can't be beat, especially for the volume, and most importantly they don't hurt to step on at 3 in the morning! Relatively durable; spring can stretch out a little if pulled by an overly curious human, but still functions well in that state and somewhat coaxable back to shape. Best toy we've got.
Ethical Cat Spring Toys

I’ve been purchasing and using these toys for over 4 years when I first spotted them on another well known site at 3 Xs the cost. I have 2 cats, one 4 1/2 years old, the other 7 months old. These springs kept my oldest lady’s attention since she was a tiny fur ball (8 weeks old). In response to a recent viewer indicating that her cat could bite and break them, that’s highly unlikely. Stepping on them with a heavy shoe could break them or cause them to become misshapened.

I acquired this little kitty approximately 1 month ago. She was living in the back yard of a dilapidated house, underweight and neglected. Terrible situation! Anyway I got my opportunity to show her a better life. So..got her shots, spayed, a new cat tree (also from chewy and also awesome!!) New bowls, collar, balls with bells, mice stuffed with catnip, electric door knob strings, laser light, even the cat tree has hanging toys. But her favorite....these springs!! Ten of them for about a $1, hours of independent entertainment for her. Great exercise! She carries them in her mouth like a dog with a bone! Very durable, HEAVY DUTY is an appropriate description. My two rescued kitties, now over a year, are opposites in almost every way, but the one thing they agree on is that these springs are fun. They bat them about on their own, they will chase and fetch them and even bring them back for another throw - not such a common cat behavior from my experience. Our little female kitty will go find one of the springs, deliberately carry it to the place she wants to play, then drop it and start batting it around. Just as I am writing this, our male kitty brought one over with a meow to tell me he wanted me to throw it for him. You get a lot of mileage out of these little springs.
My Kitties Love Them
on Dec 8, 2018
My two fur babies are 9 and 10 years old so they don't play much anymore like kitties do. But they both play with these. With the cold winter weather they don't get outside to exercise much so was happy to see they get a little exercise playing with these. I put six of them down in different rooms. Only problem is they get lost under things so have to hunt them up every day. But it is worth it to see them play with these. They are a little smaller that I thought they would be but that is my bad for not checking on the size before buying them. And as long as they like them and play with them all is well.
Not a hit over here

My cat plays with lures and wands, but never anything that doesn't move by itself. I can't count how many little jingly balls and chews I've bought by now. I should probably give up. These didn't catch her attention either -- she showed less interest than usual for a toy. The plastic is thin and I can imagine if my cat actually bit down, it would snap immediately. They are very light and small, maybe only as wide as my thumb. Immediately lost in some dusty corner of the house; I haven't seen it since the day I took it out.
Cat's favorite toy
on Jan 2, 2019
This is hands-down my cat's favorite toy. He has been obsessed with these springs since he was a baby. It seems like a quality product–my cat really chews hard on these toys but thankfully they have never broke. The toys do get lost VERY easily (he'll play with them all around the house until they roll underneath a bookshelf or closet door) so it is nice that is super cheap and there are so many of them in one pack.
Kitties LOVE these springs!
on Dec 23, 2018
Kitties LOVE these springs. Rarely do you see my 20 month old kitten without one of her springs. She probably has 20 around the house so that so can always find one. Even as a baby kitten, she had to have a spring close by. Her brother also likes to play with them, as does their 11 year old sister. The other cats in the family asked for spring for Christmas which was the primary reason for this purchase of springs.
