Description

That fresh aroma of pine, it’s coming from your cat’s litter box! Yup, these non-clumping pellets are made with 100% natural pine and nothing else. They absorb liquids up to three times their weight so odors don’t stand a chance at lingering around the litter box. And there’s no covering up odors with artificial fragrances or chemicals. We just let that pine do its thing at naturally combating those offensive smells for a fresher box the natural way. It’s low dust for less mess and provides fragrance- and chemical-free odor control for sensitive kitties.

Key Benefits
  • All-natural cat litter is made with 100% pine, and has non-clumping pellets that combat odors without any chemicals or added fragrances.
  • Pine pellets absorb up to 3X their weight in liquids to help keep the litter box fresh and prevent lingering odors, with daily scooping.
  • Uses pine’s natural odor-protection power instead of just covering up odors with fancy fragrances.
  • It smells like pine because it is pine, with no fragrances, scents, chemicals, dyes or additives. Perfect for cats that are sensitive to other litters.
  • Dust-free for less mess and perfect for single or multi-cat homes.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Instructions

  • Scoop out wet litter & solids daily. Sift gently or simply scoop and discard. Throw away waste.
  • Add more Frisco Pine Litter as necessary to maintain 3-4 inch depth.
Transition Instructions

Some cats may require assistance in adjusting to a new litter. Begin with 1 inch of Frisco Litter covered with 2 inches of the previous litter product. Do not mix the layers - your cat will do this when pawing and covering. Gradually add less old litter each time you change the litter pan. Most casts will comfortably adjust to the new litter after 3 to 4 changes.

    It's just ok

    By on

I wanted to try a litter that would track less, my cat tracks litter EVERYWHERE! On its tracking this product gets a 4, there's significantly less litter scattered, only a few pellets here and there. On the downside I'm still not sure how I feel about this. I've used it for about 3 weeks now. I feel like I throw away more litter than I need to, so maybe I have some work on that end. But if my cat takes a stinky poo..man it doesn't cover ANY of the smell. Still on the fence about it..we'll see.

    Was hopeful.......

    By on

I really thought this would be a great product. Who doesn’t love the aroma of pine......oops, maybe I received a bad batch because the odor of these pellets is extremely unpleasant. I’ve only tried it for two days (thinking maybe the odor would dissipate after opening the bag) but I just cannot get past the odor. It permeates throughout the entire house. Hard to even explain it, however, there’s not even a hint of pine. The cat won’t go near it.....and I’m sort of glad because I wanted it out of the house. Unfortunately, I have 40 lbs. of it.

    Jury is out

Our 20 year old won’t “go” in this..I have to sprinkle “regular” litter over it to get her to do her business. Our 11 year old is still suspicious so mixed “regular” litter and she is fine. Am not going to repurchase. It is like pellets for a pellet stove...a bit hard of their soft feet.. I wish it was more ground up...the smell of pine is lovely and natural and does mask odors..much better than other litters.

    Love this litter!

These pine pellets are great alternative to regular litter. Gone are the days of fake fresh smells and clay dust. These have a pleasant pine wood smell that lasts. The pellets break down to cover pet messes and make it easy to scope clumps from the litter box. #ChewyTeamRated

    Didn’t work out for me

    By on

One of my three cats refused to use this litter even tho I mixed it with the clumping kind I had been using. She would pee in it but not poop. I kept finding poops right next to the box. I did not feel the pine masked the odor very well either. I was disappointed because I really wanted to love it after reading so many great reviews.

    Love the no dust

    By on

First off, I love the no dust appeal of this litter. I have horrible allergies so this is a major plus for me. The smell is also a big plus as it makes the house smell great and masks the smell of an odors. I thought it would be a challenge going from the regular clay litter that my cats normally use but it was a much easier transition than I thought (it only took a few days for them to get used to it). #ChewyTeamRated

    Better than I thought.

    By on

I won’t lie I was a little unsure about trying a pellet litter but it worked out great! It was tricky transitioning my cat from normal litter to the pellets but after a little time it was smooth sailing. Absorbs every liquid super easy to scoop any chunks and my favorite part NO MOR TRACKING LITTER ONTO THE FLOOR!!

    good for what it is

    By on

didn't realize how hard the pellets were, but its probably one of the best for the pellet kind. didn't work for me, because my kitty is picky, but I don't think its the fault of the product. would still recommend to anyone who wants to use pine pellets

    cats didn't like

No real surprise as they've never taken to pine litter but I wanted try again. Have to cover with "real litter" otherwise they wouldn't use willingly. Could tell they were distressed not happy with the box
