Is this pine from treated lumber?

How do you clean litter box, can you scoop and sift out poop and urine

Answer by ChewyJan 03, 2021
These pine pellets absorb up to 3X their weight in liquids to help keep the litter box fresh and prevent lingering odors, with daily scooping. Scoop soiled litter and solids daily.

How is it recommended to switch over from clay litter to these pellets?

Answer by ChewyApr 01, 2021
For transitioning to this litter, begin with 1 inch of Frisco litter covered with 2 inches of the previous litter product. Do not mix the layers, your cat will do this when pawing and covering. Then gradually add less old litter each time you change the litter pan. Most casts will comfortably adjust to the new litter after 3 to 4 changes.

Are these pine pellets dust free?

Answer by ChewyAug 24, 2021
These pellets are dust-free for less mess.

I usually use Feline Pine, but tried this since it looked the same and was a few dollars cheaper. I noticed the pellets werent as hard as the Feline Pine. And it affects the absorption, as I've gone through much more in a short time than I usually do with cat litter. Unfortunately this just isn't as good as Feline Pine.

This litter completely eliminated the issue of my cats tracking litter into my bed. It doesnt turn to concrete on the bottom of the litter box-you just dump it in a trash bag. Its far lighter than clay and smells just like what it is-pine. I love this litter and am still transitioning one of my two cats. One took to it just fine; the other doesnt like it and eliminates out of the box so, transitioning to this litter from clay is a little bit of a process!

I usually get this litter for my cat. It’s super affordable for 40lbs of litter. My cat has no problem using it. She has asthma and I use the layered litter box so the dust goes to the lowest layer. It doesn’t work up her asthma and she’s never had an issue using it. The 40lb bag lasts a long long time for one cat. Clean up can be a chore if you don’t clean the wee wee pad weekly but this is worth it for me

My favorite litter

If you have a home where the litter box is in a less than ideal space and you don’t want to constantly smell it get pine litter! I have my box right by my couch

If you have a home where the litter box is in a less than ideal space and you don’t want to constantly smell it get pine litter! I have my box right by my couch and no one even knows. This brand is low dust and much better quality than others I’ve tried. It is easy to scoop, clean, and rarely tracks on my cats paws. Best of all it is natural and safe for the environment, could not recommend more!

We use to us Feline Pine, but discovered Frisco Pine Pellet Unscented Non-Clumping Wood Cat Litter. Works just as well, or better and saves us money. When you have 11 cats that use the littler boxes, you need a litter that works well and can save you money at the same time. The Pellets absorbs the cat's urine and then powders and as it does it keeps the smell down. Even with so many cats using the litter boxes, we don't always have to empty them weekly, sometimes certain boxes can be changes every 2 weeks which is great! You'll love it if you change over to it.

Like the concept

Clay litter may be the standard, but alternative litters are coming for it! This unassuming Frisco litter packs a punch. It smells amazing, traps odors, and is easy to swap. Since it doesn't clump, you're scooping less! Urine turns the pellets into dust that you can just dump! No weird sticking to the litter box. It does track, but not as bad as clay litter. Cats found this easy to adjust to, and it works really well in multi-cat households. If you're looking to change litters, try this guy first. This is the cheapest price for pellets online.

So your cat has to stay indoors for the pees and the poops because your cat either has zero street-smart-life-skills or because you have an anxious need for the illusion of control (or some combo of the two!), these wood pellets are gonna do the trick. No, they don't clump, but they also don't shoot up a plume of toxic pee dust or poison the bodies of child laborers... it is just saw dust in pellet form, so it absorbs the cat pee and provides a gentle place for the poops to roll and nestle until it is scooping time.
