I tried and tried to capture my 2 cat's interest in this toy. I new they loved the party treats, so I really thought the toy would capture their interest. They had absolutely no interest in the string. As long as i played with the toy, they ate the snack; just like a cat.....their pet works for them!!

I initially thought many of the things some reviewers reported. I'm glad procrastinated removing or it not filling it. Like many skills, it took a bit of messing with it to coax the cats. I changed to their tasty small pellet food and that was it. I have 3 now, b/c the dog wants hers, too! I fill them with whatever is appropriate for the day. Treats (not too many) or their daily intake. No one as gained wait. The added benefit is no one eats too fast, no no undigested food replay- as happened in the past. Like many things, supervision is appropriate with multiple animals- but by in large, they have found it interesting without becoming protective or aggressive, at all. Just got this . It is a little loud when I linoleum flooring but one cat likes it . she[s hit it around but I have noticed that it has to be hit pretty hard to get it to throw out a treat . I think the hole where the treats come out should be closer to the bottom edge so when it just rolls after hitting it not so hard as you have to that it would make the treats fall out easier. not that you want it to be too easy but right now they can not hit it hard enough. more like a spinning top motion

  • Cat loves it - I'm slightly disappointed

    By on

My cat really enjoys this toy! It took him a bit to figure out he could eat the string, now he eats that first before knocking the treats out. My only disappointment is the in the string. For some reason I was expecting something that was a little more like soft rawhide in nature (I guess). My cat is a chewer and the string is gone in seconds. Was hoping this toy would satisfy his need to chew and give him longer chewing time. It doesn't. After about 15 minutes he's done. I give him treats only once a day because I don't want him any fatter than he is.

  • Cats like the treats and the toy!

Our two cats like the toy and also the treats that come with it. One of them loves the pull and peel style treat, and will steal it righ t out of the toy.

  • clever toy!

1 kitty LOVES her Wobbert. It really slows down the speed at which 1st kitty eats her treats! (Although she has become very efficient at getting treats out of Wobbert!!) 2nd kitty can't figure out how to get the treats out...but he knows that I'll open it up for him eventually if his sister doesn't steal it first. Washing Wobbet out is a bit of a pain though. I wonder if I can put them in the dishwasher?

  • great product, treats depend on cat's prefrence

This is a really great way to get a cat motivated by food to be more active. Our cats unfortunately did not like the string treat scent so we just added a string that had sat in a bag with cat nip in it. Also we added some of their regular kibble to the toy in the bottom. Now they love it and it helps them to be indecently active more often! Love the chewy service! Keep up the great work and terrific deals!

  • Our cats love this

    By on

This was a Christmas gift from a friend; the cats fell in love with it right away. Because we have five cats of our own and two foster kittens, it quickly became obvious that we needed more than one; our strong-willed alpha doesn't always think she needs to share. So I got two more. All of the cats, even the youngest foster, figured out that they could get treats by rolling the wobbly thing. Two of them don't seem to care for the string treats, but the others go crazy for them. The 4-month-old kitten learned almost immediately how to pull the string treat out of the toy by dragging it by the string until it comes out--things like that make it fun for watching humans.

  • Great for Dispensing Treats and Kibble

    By on

We bought this toy on a whim for my 18-month-old cat last Christmas, and it has now become a regular part of his feeding routine. The little "Wobbert" dispenser is great for dispensing both the string treat and his evening kibble. It's a great way to keep our cat busy and also discourage him from just scarfing his food down. As far as treats go, the string treats are the one thing he goes gaga for every time. Absolutely adores them. He actually looks disappointed when we run out of them and he has to settle for something else!

  • Unfortunately, my cats did not care for the treats, nor were they interested in the toy.

I was disappointed that my cats did not respond to the toy. They sniffed it and batted it a couple of times, but now it sits with treats in it. They are still not interested.
