Instructions

Shake well before use. Use 10ml for every 10 gallons. For easy dosing, use the top of the screw cap. Fill to the inner ring for 5ml and to the top of the cap for 10ml. Note: Dose rate can be doubled per week for additional nitrate control. Depending on the starting concentration of nitrate in the aquarium, it can take a few weeks to reach desired levels. Once achieved, levels will remain low.

    Does NOT work!

    By on

Bought multiple bottles thinking the nitrates were just through the roof, but it did absolutely nothing! Followed directions exactly and ZERO change in nitrate level.

    Doesn’t work

    By on

I tried this and exactly like they recommended and it didn’t work and didn’t do anything. If you want to get rid of nitrate! Get no3 nitrate reducer which is the Red Sea brand! Got rid of nitrate to 0 in a week and safly but you have to follow the directions carefully

Use with caution in canister filter

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Added this Nitrate Reducer per directions, shake well, 10ml for 10 gallons per week. Within 24 hours the Flow Alert was going off on my Fluval G6, removed the Pre-filter and cleaned it, placed back in canister and within a few hours had to remove it again. The filter fins were completely blocked again! Added to a HOB Filter instead but still had to replace the Pre-filter!
