Instructions

Use it to treat your cat, or use it to feed meals for an easy weight loss solution. Dishwasher safe, top rack only. The Twist ’n Treat twists apart to let you put small treats or dry food inside. You can adjust how easily the treats are dispensed. Start with an easy setting, allowing treats to come out quickly, so your cat associates the toy with a food reward. Once your cat has the hang of it, you can increase the level of difficulty by making the openings smaller. It will take your cat longer to get the reward, thus encouraging longer play time. This appeals to your cat's prey drive; your cat will feel like she's catching and eating her prey every time she plays.

  • Twist n treat toy

    By on

Everything came in right away. Packaging was in good condition. The toys works just fine. Only problem is my cat just isn’t interested in the toy no matter what I do. That’s the only reason why I gave this review a one star. For ME it felt like a waste of money since my cat doesn’t like the toy. Has nothing to do with the product itself though.

  • It’s a Dud

    By on

Cats had zero interest in it. I’ve bought other treat toys that were a hit with a few cats. This one....... the feathers weren’t even enough to mess with.

  • Great Treat Toy for cats

    By on

My cat loves this toy! It’s a great way to let him expend some mental energy with a reward. I fill it 2x a day and let him problem solve to get his treats. He absolutely loves it!

  • Difficult to use

    By on

This treat toy is hard to use. The treats either don’t come out or all come out at once.

  • He loves it

He carries it around with him and unfortunetly he gets the feathers off all the time. Not as interested in the treats as he is the feathers.

  • Boring Cat Toy

    By on

Didn't seem to dispense goodies well, unless I manually shook it to have the goodies fall out. If set at the easiest setting, it would come apart, rather than be easier for the cats to get their goodies. I bought 3, as I have 3 areas of cats (total 15); and the reactions were the same, bored. One cat liked the feather toy on top, no matter if it had goodies in it or not.

  • Cat Doesn't Like It

    By on

Doesn't balance at all, just flops to one side; hole was way too small to dispense the smallest kibble, even though it says "adjustable." Cat never figured it out- she figures out other puzzle toys easily.

  • Does not work how I expected

    By on

It's a great idea but it dispenses too many treats at one time. Since the treats fall out too quickly my cat loses interest.

  • Funkitty Twist and Treat teaser cat Toy

It does not work. The instructions indicate that you can change the toy to have different levels, from an easy to hard access to kibble. IT DOES NOT WORK.

  • Wonderful - a big hit with my 6 cats!

    By on

My guys caught on to this toy quickly - I gave them a couple treats, then shook the toy so a few came out, and that's all it took. The cats love it so much - I've bought a regular dry food to put in it so they can play with it whenever I'm there to refill it, and I've ordered a few more so the less bold cats might get a turn, too. The toy is sturdy - the plastic is not skimpy and the feathers stay on well. The feathers are also wispy, so tend to flutter and attract attention even in a slight draft. It's simple to use - to fill the toy, you just unscrew the top and bottom piece, put treats or food in the bottom, and screw the top back on tighter until the treats fall out of the holes at My guys caught on to this toy quickly - I gave them a couple treats, then shook the toy so a few came out, and that's all it took. It's simple to use - to fill the toy, you just unscrew the top and bottom piece, put treats or food in the bottom, and screw the top back on tighter until the treats fall out of the holes at a rate you want - challenging for your cat but not impossible. You can start with the top unscrewed more to let treats out more easily and keep your cats' interest at first. Then as they get the hang of using the toy, make it harder and harder to shake out a treat to keep them playing longer. It won't work with huge treats, because the openings are made to allow regular cat treats to come out relatively slowly. There is a weight on the bottom of the toy so that it always rights itself; combining the weight with its shape, the toy rolls on the floor at a pretty good angle to allow treats to fall out sometimes when your cat bats at it, rather than requiring them to muscle it around and shake it - because we all know they wouldn't bother at that point. If my cats had thumbs, they'd give this toy 12 thumbs up! … more
