Slows down eating
By JayKay on May 8, 2020
I had to “teach” my 1 year old kitten what to do and he was good to go! It takes him at least 15 minutes to eat and still doesn’t get every last kibble. I think he gets tired of it and gives up so I dump what little is left for him to eat in his regular bowl. I find the ceramic version of this bowl expensive compared to the plastic version, but according to reviews, the plastic bowl has a “gutter” where kibble gets trapped. The ceramic bowl does not have this gutter. Consequently, my cat pulls out kibble which rolls or shoots out onto the floor every which way. So as long as you don’t mind cat food all over the floor, this bowl effectively slows down mealtime.

Interactive Meal Time
By tine on Apr 30, 2020
It did not take very long for my cats to figure this dish out. All four eat out of it at the same time. They pick a side and start swiping for food. I think it makes meal time for interesting and fun for them. The dish is well made, but a little lightweight so if you have incredibly excited cats it will definitely slide across the floor. I don’t have too much trouble with the bowl moving since I feed them on a rug, and now that they’ve figured out how to effectively get food out they aren’t swiping at the bowl as hard. I love that it’s ceramic and easy to clean.

Two adult cats adjusted well
By Hightops on Apr 24, 2020
Our cats weren't overweight, but I felt like they were going through more kibble than they should have been. Our one boy would binge and purge often (at least once a week or more). We had attempted alternative feeding styles previously that didnt take, but my boys figured out this dish pretty quickly (Although the non-binge-and-purger was not pleased). Its been about a month or longer and we have only had to pick up puke once! I'd say its a great product. My boys aren't starving, but they also are not stuffing their faces. For reference i fill the dish with kibble about once daily, and supplement with wet food and treats daily. This dish also looks super cute next to our white ceramic water fountain Our cats weren't overweight, but I felt like they were going through more kibble than they should have been. Love this bowl!
By liontaymer on May 21, 2020
I had one cat that would eat so quick he would throw up soon after eating and I have one that is a chonk so I thought we would try this bowl. It works great. All our cats love it. My only problem is that Chewy doesn't have any more in stock and I need another one!

Works great
By Kathryn on Mar 25, 2020
We bought this to slow down our older cat, as she was eating too much and getting quite fat. I was starting to call her names and fat-shame her so I decided to do something positive instead of the negative. Shaming her wasn't working at all! Now we are being more mindful of how much we give her to eat each day as well as using only this bowl, so she has to get at least a bit of exercise getting the food out. It seems to be working in that regard so I'm hoping she will lose a little of her belly so I can stop calling her those mean names. :) I have nothing negative to say about the bowl, it looks great and works great.

Would recommend!
By catlover on Apr 2, 2020
My cats really enjoy grabbing food out of this with their paws. It helps prevent them from gobbling all of the food at once. Easy to clean. Only draw back is when they push the food out the food sometimes falls on the floor, so a large plate needs to be placed underneath.

Perfect for a cat on a diet
By Brownie on Jun 12, 2020
This slows down my chunky cat and she fills up on less food because it takes forever. She eats piece by piece now

Lovely product, didn't work for us
By SNabbit on Mar 16, 2020
My cats just couldn't seem to get the hang of this/get motivated enough to use it. We had something similar when they were younger so I hoped it would work out but they just didn't like it and refused to get food out of it. Definitely worth a shot if you need to slow feed your cats or give them a way to self feed though!

Fast Eater
By Sissy on Apr 10, 2020
Love this bowl. It has really slowed down my gobble-n-go kitty! I enjoy watching him eat his food now. He’ll eat a little and walk away; a welcome change. Hopefully he’ll lose some weight!

No more belly aches
By Brooke on Feb 28, 2020
They were eating so fast they were puking from upset bellies that were too full, even with other slow feeders they were eating too fast. These feeders are the first to actually fix that.
