My dog has bladder stones and an UTI for the second time within a year. We tried different foods that the vet prescribed and he did not eat any of them. We even tried a specific powder and mixed in his wet food he usually eats to help with his urinary issues, and he did not touched his food. He did not eat for days and I was getting a little desperate. He is a picky eater and this is the only food he is eating - still hesitating when I put it down but I guess he realized there will be no other food.
My dog likes this food so much more than the other urinary prescription foods and it does not give him any stomach upset like the other ones either.
Unfortunately, my picky eater won't touch it anymore. Was good about for the first few days, but then each day after that he ate less and less to now the point of he just walks away. Will be talking to his vet to see if we can try a different brand.
Violet has been a notoriously picky eater! She cleans her bowl every time with this food.
Our vet had us place our dog on this after we discovered she had bladder stones. She hasn’t been on it long enough yet to say if the stones won’t come back but she certainly likes the taste. Good so far.
My dog was recently diagnosed with stones in her urine. She was put on a certain prescription kind of food. I chose pro plan UR. She loves this food. She dances every time she gets fed. She is a pretty good dancer for weighing 70 pounds. I recommend this food for urinary problems but always check with your vet. I just wish it was cheaper in price. Lol
This is my dog's first wet food, but she can't get enough of it! Hoping it helps with her UR issues!
Thanks for the instructions on introducing the new food to our dog
This is a new diet my senior dog is on. I was Leary about her not liking it. I have a teaspoon to try and she devoured it. I mix it with the dry form and now she loves both! I even give her some with her seizure medicine and she takes it no problem
My dogs really like this wet food. My miniature schnauzers have renal problems and need to take it. They are ok the dry renal dog food.
