Much to my surprise Buddy seems to love both the canned and kibble versions of this. Spent $$ getting a canine nutritionist to formulate a yummy diet as I had heard that prescription diets were expensive and rarely eaten. This is far less trouble to serve. 5 Thumbs up!
I fed my dog a quarter of the can mixed with her dry dog food, and five minutes later she threw up. After that she had diarrhea.
My dog, Daisy is a 13 yr old Chiweenie and she loves Purina Pro Plan prescription wet food for urinary problems. She had crystals in her urine, so the vet recommended Purina urinary care food, and Chewy was quick to get an authorization from the vet. I mix the wet food in her prescription formula kibble because she had stopped eating her dry food. Now she gobbles it all down like a good girl. I also mix her medicine in with the wet food and she never knows it's there. My only reason for giving it only four stars is that it contains meat by products. This is a little disappointing, but she loves the food, it agrees with her stomach, and it's helping to keep the crystals in check. She gets retested for the urine crystals at her next 6-month checkup...we'll see if it's really helping then. So all in all, she's a happy dog and I'm a happy mom.Yay Purina!
My 13-year-old Staffordshire mix loves this food especially because, at her age, she has become more finicky about her food. We also mix in cooked calves liver that we chop up into little pieces. She will eat the canned food w/o the liver, but the liver helps with her red blood cells. So far so good.
We had to get this food for our dog with urinary tract issues. It was a bit expensive but it’s what the vet said she needed and since Chewy has a money back guarantee, this was the place to get it. Lily LOVES this food and gobbles it up like no other food she’s ever had! She’s even lost a few pounds, which she needed. I’ve been a Chewy customer for a long time and will be forever now, with the variety of things they have; Lily’s food and our dogs’ favorite treats.
So convenient! And always in stock. We never worry about running out.
Our dog had struvite crystals in his urine sample. After 1 month of feeding this diet, no crystals in urine!
I Had to get this for my little furbaby. He refused to eat it . Both the dry and wet food. Vet recommended and it was pointless. I ended up having to cook for him
Great product that our Pup really loves. We were able to get the prescription food at a savings and faster than ordering locally. Looking to add other products to our orders in the future for our other animals. As our animals have aged Chewy has been able to support them throughout their lives.
I ordered this per my vet, but my dog will not eat it. She sniffs it and walks away.
