Revolt vs Revolution
My indoor/outdoor cat has been on Revolt since April 2022 to July 2022. We used to use Revolution for our cat, but the price was getting out of control. After the patent expired for Revolution, Revolt (Aurora Pharmaceutical) began manufacturing flea control using the exact ingredients as Revolution, the primary ingredient being Selemectin. I can attest this works just as well as Revolution. No fleas, no ear mites, no intestinal parasites. And it’s HALF the price of Revolution. It does prevent the American dog tick, among others. Cats are extremely unlikely to get deer ticks.
Excellent Alternative to Revolution
I was so thrilled to find this alternative brand Revolt to the one my Vet prescribed initially. I realized the active ingredients are exactly the same as Revolutions. Word for Word, there is no difference when I compared the labels between two brands. This brand costs half of the other brand and I can order it online. I give it a Five Star rating from convenience to effectiveness
Make sure you check the extperation date of your pharmacy Item
I order my pharmacy items well in advance so I don't run into any problems getting them. I just ordered and received two 6 month supplys of REVOLT for my cat Bilbo. One of them has an expiration date of 4/2023. It should go out a minimum of a year. Always be sure you check the dates.
Comparable substitution at less expense!
For 20 plus years I have used Revolution with great results on my Maine Coons. I switched a year ago to Revolt per my vet’s recommendation. I’m getting the exact same results! My cats are parasite free with gorgeous coats.
works and good price
I have a feral cat colony and my own personal cats that I use this on. I was trying to use revolution and it stopped working. my vet suggested this as a cheaper alternative to revolution. it works as long as its not a flea infestation. I had to use bravecto first to clear up the infestation on my indoor cats. then I used this once it was cleared up. bravecto is good but pricey for the amount of cats I have.
This stuff really works good. I have a couple of cats with ear mites and this works good plus all the other benefits and the price is better.
Revolt topical solution works unbelievably crazy. We tried several different things and none worked. Revolt literally worked its magic over night ..
flea and tick
this product is great Arya has a flea problem, I have tried many products that barley help, even thou a little more pricey and our vet had to prescribe it it WORKS!!!!! fleas were gone in less then 2 days. Chewy sent the prescription and my wonderful cats only vet got the approval in less then 24 hours totally recommend this product
This product is just simply Selamectin, which is one of the ingredients in Revolution Plus. The only difference between this and Revolution is that it does not prevent ticks.. however, it is MUCH cheaper and just as effective at preventing every other type of parasite.. and unless your cat is an outdoor cat, ticks are not usually an issue. So for the price and it being practically the same product, Revolt is what I go with for my cats :)
Shocked Did Not Work
I do a lot of TNVR cats in my small town and very surprised that after two applications on a kitten it still had at least 10 live adult fleas! Very disappointed!
