Ok, here’s the deal. These treats are only slightly larger than the Royal Canin Urinary S/O kibble. It smells exactly the same, but is shaped like little stars. The only good thing about this treat is that your dog, after only eating the kibble for days, will be overly excited that he/ she is FINALLY getting an actual treat ,recognizing that it comes out of a bag. But you’d be better off grabbing an empty treat bag from a now off -limits treat, and throwing some Royal Canin Urinary S/O kibble it it. Or just put the kibble in a baggie. My vet initially recommended using the kibble as treats. I’ve been doing this, but my dog is catching on …which is why I ordered the treat from Royal Canin. Save your money on these treats! Instead, buy the royal Canin urinary S/O wet food. Drop spoonfuls on parchment paper, bake at 350 for 30 minutes, and give your dog “homemade “dog treats. These last in the fridge for about five days. I’m also giving my dog the wet canned food along with the kibble for his meals. No, who is more bored with this restrictive urinary diet, me or my dog.
I bought the royal canine treats because they were offered with the food but my dog won’t even touch them. I left them on the floor for days and she walks right past them. Can they be returned? I don’t have the bags.
We had to change our dog‘s diet due to a bladder stone. The Royal Canin dog food and the treats have aided in breaking down the stone. She also loves the taste.
My little angel had to change what she eats for health reasons. She’s a little picky and she loves these thankfully since she can’t have other treats! Chewy even got the script from my vet which wa# very helpful!
These 'treats' do not smell very good to me but my girls love them. They are very small which I like - I don't have to cut them into small bits as treats for several times a day. I hate that my one girl has to be on these the rest of her life but I'm glad they are around as I don't know what I'd do without them!
