Continue to Canada siteRoyal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Moderate Calorie Dry Dog Food is a veterinary-exclusive dry dog food developed to nutritionally support your adult dog's urinary tract and bladder health. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. It increases the amount of urine your pet produces to help dilute excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones. Moderate calorie content helps her maintain a healthy weight. Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation. Lower urinary tract issues may be a recurring concern for some dogs. Talk to your veterinarian about keeping your canine on this urinary dog food for long-term urinary support.

My dogs been on this food for over 6 years, last bag I got in had her puking yellow everywhere and going in the house. She’s not a dog that pukes ever and I can count on my hand the amount of times she gone potty inside, each time when she’s sick. She refuses to eat this food now, even when I went to the local pet store to see if it was just a bad bag. Be careful getting this for your pet, I don’t know what’s going on but the quality has changed drastically.
My dog has been on the Hills prescription diet urinary care c/d wet/dry/treats for years to prevent struvites from forming. She LOVED that dog food, but this moderate calorie version with the same purpose was recommended by my vet, for weight control. I was wondering if she would like it, and she preferred it over the other! She just loves it, and I’m hoping she might slim down some as a result. Upon adopting her about eight years ago, after only six months, we found she’d needed bladder stone surgery, and I was told she needs this urinary care food her whole life.
Bambi had bladder stones until she started this food. It cleared them up right away. I did the research on all the prescription foods for this condition and chose this one. I couldn't be more pleased.
my dog seems to like it i tried it as an alternate for hills urinary food which she also eats well. my only issues are it cost more than the hills which i was trying to find a cheaper food. with the royal canin you get a 17 pound bag for just a little cheaper than a hills 27 pound bag
Prescribed and recommended by my Veterinary as a conservative approach or otherwise it would be surgery for my dog. So we gave it a shot to see if we would see results. We gave it 3 months and it worked. Highly recommend this product if your Vet suggests it, at least give it a try.
Since Sam was diagnosed with crystals in his urine, he's been on a special food. The food is so expensive! And he hasn't liked any of them, so I've been trying different brands and he's been enthusiastic about Eukanuba so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
The last few days my dog has been throwing up yellow foam from this dog food... I do NOT recommend this brand at all! After further review it has horrible ratings & reviews and not to mention scary reviews. If your dog has uti problems I recommend a different route. Steer clear of this.
Got the Royal Canine Urinary SO. It is a necessary food for my sweet dog. The price of dog food is unreal no matter where ya shop
This is a great product. The price has gotten so much higher than ever before. I have to buy it for my dog but it hurts the budget.
My girl Annabelle loves this food so far. Hoping to see results with bladder stones in 3 mos.
