“Sturdy and Durable. I have two cats (~13 pounds each) that both love this bed - they even squish in together sometimes! We've had this bed for almost two years now, and it has barely any wear, despite being used daily as a bed. The sisal has frayed a bit at the top of the post, where the cats scratch most aggressively, but it still has some wear available. The cats appreciate the option to curl up inside or rest their heads on the edge. It feels like there is a 1/2 inch foam inside the edging. Do pay attention to the base measurement; it is large, but the size and thickness make the unit extremely sturdy.”

“WHAT A DEAL! Besides the fact that my cat loves, loves, loves this cat tree, it was such a great price! It is easy to put together, but you do need to get organized first. I separated and labeled all screws and bolts, and was really glad I did. My rescue cat is still skittish, took him a couple of days to get used to this new thing, but now he even plays with the fuzzy mice. (I cannot get him to play with ANY of his other toys, except for yarn being dragged across the floor). Did not attach the very top tier, but made a cat stand out of it and a carpeted cat scratch pole that my furry baby also would never use. Now he can sit right next to me while I am on the computer (he is sleeping there right now) and doesn't feel neglected. I am now a big Chewy fan, and recommend them wholeheartedly.”

“Major Design Flaw - Needs Graduated Steps. I bought two of these for my two cats, and have assembled just one so far. First the pros: super quick shipping (thank you Chewy), high quality material, easy to assemble, really nice color (dark grey), super soft material, roomy boxes, super roomy top perch, and just looks good aesthetically. I have just one CON and it’s a big one that makes me very dissatisfied so far. The only way to get to the top perch is to jump from the floor. Young and healthy cats will have no problem doing this, but one of my cats is older and has health issues, yet he likes to sleep a bit elevated from the floor. I was hoping this top perch with a self warming pad would become his new happy place. He can’t even get to the top perch. The photos on Chewy led me to believe that he would be able to step from the first box, to the second box, to the perch. That’s not the case as the boxes are completely under the perch. I put a cardboard box next to it and hope he will be able to use that as a step to get to the top. Hasn’t worked yet but I gotta give it more time. I really want to love this car tower but it Is a major design flaw to not have a graduated step to the top. Not every cat can jump from the floor to the top perch.”
