Are you able to vacuum the litter out of the mat?

While it may be possible to vacuum the mat, the manufacturer recommends to just fold it over and gently shake loose litter back into the litter box or to a garbage bin. Then bring it outside for an extra firm shake if necessary. Machine wash to disinfect and renew the mat.

Does the litter get all in washer when you wash it and get gummy?

The Medium mat measures approximately 24 x 20 x 1 inch and the X-Large mat measures approximately 36 x 28 x 1 inch.

Can it be put in the dryer?

This mat can be dried in the dryer. We recommend using the Air Fluff option as the heat may damage the rubber backing.

Absolutely Unbelievable!

I've had indoor cats for decades and have always struggled to find a litter mat that actually works and isn't a hassle to keep clean or that actually keeps litter

I've had indoor cats for decades and have always struggled to find a litter mat that actually works and isn't a hassle to keep clean or that actually keeps litter from tracking through the house. We recently moved to a new home and I bought all new cat supplies and decided to give this one a try. I can't believe that it took nearly 50 years to find something THIS AMAZING !!! I have never used something that works 100% and is a BREEZE to clean!! It shakes out completely and easily outside and I haven't even had to wash it yet! It literally (no pun intended) traps ALLLLLLLLLLL the excess litter when our furbabies use the litter box and there is absolutely ZERO TRACKING !!! NONE !!! I've never experienced something like this that works so incredibly well. We have a senior cat that lives in our bedroom and keeping the litter from tracking on the carpet was always a nightmare and we never walked barefoot because of the litter tracked, no matter how hard we tried to keep it clean! This one is in our new, carpeted bedroom and the carpet stays 100% CLEAN, litter-free, and WE ARE WALKING BAREFOOT AGAIN, hallelujah!!! I only have to vacuum the bedroom weekly and I shake the mat outside and it shakes out easily and it's absolutely a BREEZE to catch all the excess litter and keeps our floors CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN !!! I wish I had this over the last 40 years of my life with cats !!! I rarely write reviews, but I absolutely had to share what a MIRACLE this has been for our home !!!

This is great for keeping your feet from stepping on scattered tracked litter. As far as being able to simply shake the mat over the litter box to release the trapped litter that is not the case. I had to shake the mat and even whack it with my hand to get any litter to come out and when it did the litter went everywhere. I am back to using my old mat. With that one I can at least sweep the tracked litter into a dust pan and reuse some of it. The mat is feet friendly but not sustainable for my litter budget.

We did measure but did not realize how enthusiastic our littler tracking furballs are. Nothing against the mats or Chewy just us saving some money and thinking the smaller ones would be enough.

But it does take a long time to dry after washing. It also didn't hold up to repeated washing. I've washed it less than 10 times total and the seam along one end is now coming apart.

These are the best mats out of the many I've tried in terms of holding in litter -the litter really gets stuck down in the nubs instead of flying around and the

These are the best mats out of the many I've tried in terms of holding in litter -the litter really gets stuck down in the nubs instead of flying around and the texture is pretty effective at getting litter off paws as they walk over it. The downside is....they hold in litter. You could shake them outside, I vacuum them and that works pretty well, but they do need to be dealt with at least once a week. The only downside is that they're impossible to clean if there are accidents of any type on them. They're theoretically machine washable but I would recommend only doing it in a laundromat and not your own machine, it made a big mess and didn't work great. Still my go-to for all our boxes.

This mat has solved the problem. Zero cat litter around my house. Only problem, my cats think that it's pretty comfy and a great place for a nap.
