  • Contains phytosphingosine, a pro-ceramide that helps to restore the lipid barrier and controls inflammation.
  • Contains hinokitiol, a natural antibacterial and anti-fungal agent which aids in controlling allergic dermatosis.
  • With raspberry seed oil for its richness in Omega-6 fatty acids and antioxidant tocopherols nourish the skin.
  • Micro-emulsion spray is optimally diffused and absorbed immediately by the skin, providing quick relief for you loved one.
  • For long term control it's best to combine with Douxo Calm Shampoo to manage the topical skin irritations.

    Product expiration date

    By on

I purchased the Douxo calming spray on Feb 6th but when I received the product, the expiration date on the bottle read March 24th. If I’m going to pay for a product that’s expensive, I expect to get a product that’s not going to expire soon after I purchase it. I’m not sure if the effectiveness will wear off soon after the expiration date but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case since that is what expiration dates are for. Chewy, please do not ship your customers products that have been sitting in stock and aging and that will expire soon after a customer purchases it. I’ve only tested this product 3 times since I purchased it and I can’t tell if it’s working yet on my 6 lb chihuahua. Better than others I have tried.

    By on

My vet suggested this spray. A bit pricey but my dog is itchy and I'll to anything to help. It works better than others I've tried but the relief doesn't last long. I would recommend it.

    Not what I expected

    By on

I thought that I was ordering an Anti-anxiety spray for my dog; however, upon arrival, I discovered that this product is actually a spray for skin allergies. I rated the product with only one star because I it is not what I wanted and I have no idea how it works as an allergy spray. Nevertheless, I am extremely disappointed.

    Great Product For Calming Itching

    By on

Recommended by my vet for my dog's allergies who is constantly scratching and licking. I tried Douxo Calm Mousse but the spray is easier for me to apply. This product does seem to help and I use it once every 3 days in conjunction with Miconahex+Trix every day.

    Over priced and doesn’t help

    By on

Bought this product at my vet’s advice for my sheltie’s dry, itchy skin. Says use one one spray per 10 lbs. She is 12 lbs. tried it for a week. Didn’t help her one bit. Waste of money in my opinion.
