If you find the right sized treats, this is a great toy!!! The Blue Buffalo Bits training treats are perfect in this toy. I love that it doesn't roll so it does make it harder to get the treats out. I can put 10-15 training treats in this and my yorkie will be busy for an hour. He goes crazy for it. (as a side note, I think Chewy should test puzzle toys with different treats and provide a recommendation. When I first got this toy, I wasn't impressed because I was using treats that were too small.)
This toy has been very durable. Our dog normally destroys most of his toys in a matter of minutes to maybe two days later. This has held up.
This is a great durable toy but it is heavy. If your dog is small they may not be able to pick it up. Still works for chewing on or pushing around, even if they can't carry it.
Just ok, dog not interested in it , too small for my large dog w/ peanut butter
My dog usually destroys or figures out how tear apart most toys. He has even destroyed the rubber tires. He is also very quick on figuring out how to get the treats out of things quickly. This toy he has not destroyed and he was not able to easily get the treats out. It took him awhile
It says the sides are 3 inches, but I measured a hair over 2 1/2. I had a larger size one for my dalmatians years ago and they loved it, but this one is a little too small for my 100# dog. The holes are pretty small to put treats in. Still my dogs will chase it when thrown.
Molly is a 1 year old super chewer lab pup with a tendency to destroy all chewy toys we’ve bought. And this toy is the only one that has last for months! It keeps her occupied while we work from home and is a zoom-saver!!! Im about to buy another dust in case it ever stops lasting. We fill it with difficult to break treats and she will roll this thing around the house literally for hours every single day, tail wagging.
This is hands down the best toy I have ever purchased for my pup. Yes, the hole is small and it is a hassle to clean, but soak it in warm soapy water for a bit and it cleans out easy enough. My dog will spend nearly an hour working at getting treats out of this toy.
Olive, a 50 pound Golden who we make bets how long a toy will last her loved this one. So far, so good on how long it has lasted...we all lost the bet! She loves to kick it with her paws.
Bought the “large” size but it is still pretty small. The hole was big enough for small treats and kibble, but the whole dice fit in my doggo’s mouth. It’s a very thick rubber and I was hopeful that it might last, but my dear boi had the corner chewed off in about 10 minutes. Is anything marketed “For Power Chewers” actually tough enough for a power chewer?
