    The best of the best!

    By frogger9696 on Feb 21, 2020

Love PetChatz! I work quite a lot and it is so nice to know that I can call in and make sure my furbaby is doing good. She love to play the game for PawCall she gets so excited when she hears the tone that it's time to play and goes running. The PetWatch notifications are so helpful so I can call in a calm her down if she is barking... so grateful for that notification of sound detected. I did have to call in to get some assistance once and it was the best experience ever! The rep was so nice and helpful and truly cared about my dog and making sure we were complete online and working before letting me go. If I did need anything I would not think twice about calling them. Thank you PetChatz for Love PetChatz! HUGE peace of mind when having a puppy!

By Nugget on Feb 14, 2020

We just got a new puppy and started to use PetChatz HDX. It's a HUGE peace of mind having PetChatz knowing Nugget is okay while we're at work. The installation was easy and the features are fun! I love that he can hear me, see me and get treats even when I am not there. The silent mode is helpful because it allows me to check in on him while he's sleeping without waking him. Plus I LOVE the PetWatch feature – it senses sound and motion and records a video so I know what’s going on at all times. More than anything, the customer care is outstanding! I had a little trouble connecting to Wi-Fi because of my network, and even though it wasn't a problem with PetChatz, they still helped!! No Night Vision

By Cindy on Feb 9, 2020

I bought the Petchatz HDX and the Furbo at the same time just before leaving on vacation so I could compare them side by side. Even after Petchatz pushed me a software update I still could see almost nothing at night even though the TV was on. I also tried it with the TV off and got nothing. The Furbo system not only delivered night vision at almost the same quality as my cable company home security camera but the daytime quality was superior to Petchatz as well. On the Furbo system I also had the option of changing the video quality from 1080p to either 720p or 360p if there were problems with my internet access. There were problems with Petchatz connecting but I had no problem connecting to Furbo at the same time. The Furbo GUI also seemed easier to use and more intuitive. I will say that Petchatz is probably a better option if you have a dog who chews cords as it must be mounted to the wall over the outlet unless you purchase a separate stand as I did. There is no two way video on Furbo but I'm not sure my dogs paid much attention to the Petchatz screen even though they do regularly WATCH TV :) I also liked that Furbo launches treats out away from the unit whereas Petchatz simply drops them and they fall directly under the unit, which caused one of my boys to be timid about approaching to retrieve. I did like that Petchatz allowed you to set a daily treat limit because I found myself checking on my boys and treating them quite often :) The thing that really won me over on the Furbo is the optional "Dog Nanny" service that you can subscribe to for $69/yr or $7/mth (90 day free trial). The Dog Nanny monitors events and sends an alert to my phone if my dog is barking (sensitivity can be adjusted or feature turned off), when my dog is active, if a person is detected in my house, the smoke alarms or CO2 alarms activate, and most adorably if my dog "takes a selfie" meaning he has stood and looked directly into the camera. The system also "learns". When you review videos of these events it will ask you "was there a person in this video" or on an activity alert it will ask what your dog was doing and give you options like "eating" "chewing" "choking" as well as some other common noises but it also gives you an "other" option that allows you to type in what kind of sound was heard. I really expected to like the Petchatz best considering by the time I added the stand and PawCall it was almost 3 times the cost of Furbo. Thanks to Chewy for making the return process easy! … more

    Not Just for Dogs!

By Susan on Feb 17, 2020

We purchased PetChatz last year and we love it! We have two cats and a dog and they all come running as soon as they hear the ring. I set it up in an area where the pets hang out during the day and it's cool to get notifications of videos to see what they're up to while we're all away at work and school. It's also great that there are no monthly fees.
