Firmly press the cap down to puncture the seal on the Revolution Plus tube; a clicking sound will confirm that the cap has successfully punctured the seal. Remove the cap and check to ensure that the tip of the tube is open. To administer the product, part the hair on the back of the animal at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube 3 or 4 times to empty its entire contents directly on to the skin in one spot. Keeping the tube squeezed, drag it away from the liquid and lift to remove. Check the tube to ensure that it is empty. Do not massage the product into the skin. Due to alcohol content, do not apply to broken skin. Avoid contact between the product and fingers. Do not apply when the hair coat is wet. Stiff hair, clumping of hair, hair discoloration, or a slight powdery residue may be observed at the treatment site in some cats. These effects are temporary and do not affect the safety or effectiveness of the product. Discard empty tubes in your ordinary household refuse.

Revolution Plus broadens the scope of protection for cats and kittens, inside and out, against fleas, ticks, ear mites, roundworms, hookworms, and heartworms. Get the 6-in-1 Protection Basics
Parasites are not outdoor-only. Fleas, ticks, ear mites, intestinal worms, and heartworms can get into any home. Parasites hitchhike indoors on other pets or creatures, on shoes and clothes, or get inside through doors and windows. Cats and kittens of all lifestyles (indoor-only, indoor/outdoor, outdoor-only) can regularly come in contact with parasites and their health risks. With one monthly dose, RRevolution Plusprovides broad-spectrum coverage against common pests that both indoor and outdoor cats need.
Revolution Plus is a simple-to-apply, quick-drying, small-volume, monthly topical solution—so there’s no need to hassle with larger volume topicals or giving your cat a pill!
The most commonly reported side effects in clinical trials were temporary loss of appetite and drowsiness. No side effects were noted when Revolution Plus was used along with commonly prescribed veterinary products.
While there was a low incidence of side effects in clinical trials, it’s important to report to your veterinarian any unusual signs or activity in your cat or kitten after applying the product.
Revolution Plus is proven safe for cats and kittens as young as 8 weeks of age, weighing 2.8 lbs or greater. The safe use of Revolution Plus has not been established in kittens less than 8 weeks old or breeding, pregnant, or lactating cats.
Since one of the active ingredients (sarolaner) in Revolution Plus is a member of the isoxazoline class, use with caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders such as seizures. Revolution Plus has been administered in conjunction with numerous cat medications and may be given to cats with adult heartworm infection.
It’s always best to talk with your veterinarian about the right protection for your furry friend. But a good start is looking at our comparison chart to see how the Revolution Plus label compares to that of other pest preventatives. Only Revolution Plus provides broad-spectrum, 6-in-1 protection against fleas, ticks (black-legged or deer tick, Gulf Coast tick, and American dog tick), ear mites, roundworms, hookworms and heartworms, with unique dual action against fleas and ear mites.
Though certain ticks are more prominent in certain areas (i.e., Gulf Coast tick in Southeastern and mid-Atlantic states; American dog tick east of the Rocky Mountains and Pacific coast; black-legged or deer tick across eastern U.S.), cat owners should be vigilant with year-round tick and other pest protection in all 50 states to ensure cats of all lifestyles (indoor-only, indoor/outdoor, outdoor-only) are properly protected with broad-spectrum preventative medicine such as Revolution Plus.

If you live in the PNW you know it’s hard to find a good brand to get rid of fleas. This works pretty quickly and does provide all month relief to my cats. Easy to use cause of the topical solution and it does put the mind at ease that it does deworm them as well.
I've had many cats over my 70 years, and I remember with sadness the best even my vet back then had to offer: a spray for fleas that worked just fine on one cat, but rendered the other foaming-at-the-mouth, with her hind legs temporarily paralyzed. :( (I decided fleas were better than that!) Even further back, those "stretchy" cat flea collars that didn't work all that well, and, much worse, on some cats caused fur loss under the collar and painfully inflamed, raw skin. Revolution Plus WORKS, and it doesn't seem to cause my cat one bit of discomfort! I am very, very grateful for that!
So, honestly this wouldn’t have been my first choice, but the rescue we got Maxxyman from used this for him, and I didn’t want to try something new, and him react badly when I already knew he had no reactions to this stuff. I use it every month in the summer, not so much in the winter. Last July, I think it was, I forgot a monthly treatment, and he ended up with fleas. However, within a few days of putting this on, I never saw another one. I mean, I only found 2 and one was after he had laid on me, the other I was in my bathroom, and it was on my leg after Max cuddled with me. Our neighbors cat who always chilled on our deck and would want to come in but never allowed to, of course, had them and I think they ended up inside, so pretty sure that’s where they came from. I never even noticed Max scratching so we clearly caught it early (and neighbor cat was treated as well once we told them their cat had fleas because I’d checked neighbor cat after giving Max his meds, as I was trying to figure out where they’d come from. I saw a couple within a few minutes of checking neighbor cat, immediately told my neighbors who had no idea as their cat is outdoors 90% of the time in the summer especially). Now… I haven’t given any to Max since October and he’s been fine (I check him out pretty often and watch for any scratching and whatnot). I will start again probably in March. That’s what works for us. If we went around more people, and had a bigger risk of getting fleas, I’d probably use it monthly. But he’s an indoor cat, our nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away, and doesn’t have a cat, it’s winter so bugs aren’t really doing much, I feel like. I’d just rather not use it every month because of… how strong I feel it is? I don’t know. Definitely used in the hotter months though for sure. And it works. 9/10 because it works, but as far as recommending - for all it takes care of, it’s great but please use caution. watch your cat when you administer this (and anything else, of course). It has the potential to really upset their stomachs, cause hair loss, and other symptoms, so just keep an eye on your furbaby.
I rescued Ed ABSOLUTELY flea ridden! We did the best we could but could only get him from looking like his skin was literally crawling, to just him being able to unsettle. Doc recommended this product, and LIFE changing for Ed! His sister was losing fur due to fleas. Her momma got the product also, 180 change! Will never use anything else!
Our cat is very sensitive to these solutions so we were pleased that he had no negative reaction. He is also not itching as much, which is nice.
One of the best products out there. I love that this product protects from fleas, ticks and other parasites. Easy to administer and I don't worry until the next month. My uncle built me an outdoor catio, which they love. Knowing they are protected outside is great peace of mind.
We have a huge tick population where we live and I've been struggling to find a product that helped keep ticks off our outdoor cats. Revolution has helped get rid of about 85% of the ticks on the cats, which is a big improvement over other products.
I use this product to protect my mostly indoor cat from fleas, ticks, and mosquitos that he might encounter on our screened porch. It is low risk but heartworm is a serious condition and there are lots of mosquitos in the South. Chewy has very fast delivery which I appreciate.
It took awhile to get the vet to communicate with Chewy - and after cancelling the order because the vet didn't fill out the correct information, reordering it - kind of a hassle but it is less expensive through Chewy than the vet - I like this product and the fact that it is auto ship.
This stuff is amazing. My cats just sit there and let me put it on them. No more chasing and wrestling with them to put it on. It also works great. No fleas or ticks. We live in the country and my cats are both inside and outside so this is a must to protect them.
