About Royal Canin Urinary Health for Dogs

Royal Canin, incredible in every detail. Tailored nutritional solutions for urinary health.

Worried About Your Dog’s Urinary Health?

Your veterinarian is the expert on your dog’s health, so you should always consult with this trusted advisor to find the best urinary health solutions for your pet. Royal Canin works closely with veterinarians to develop dog formulas that support urinary tract and bladder health.

How Can Nutrition Help?

Your veterinarian may recommend a Royal Canin Urinary formula for your dog. These special formulations can:

Dilute Urine

This helps your dog urinate more often, which can help minimize time for stones to form.

Lower RSS

RSS methodology predicts urine crystallization and is used to develop diets that reduce the risk of stone formation.

Maintain Balance

A precise mineral balance can also help prevent stones from forming.

Set Up Autoship for Consistent Delivery

Last-minute dietary changes can sometimes upset your pet’s stomach. Set your Royal Canin pet food order to Autoship to keep feeding on track and avoid unwanted disruptions.

About Royal Canin

What sets Royal Canin apart is their close collaboration with veterinarians. Through these professional partnerships, they strive to learn everything they can about pet health, including how different formulas perform for different breeds, sizes, lifestyles and therapeutic conditions. OnTrac Is Terrible

OnTrac is the absolute worst delivery service. They almost try to exceed expectations for poor service. This particular time they left the box of $120 worth of dogfood

OnTrac is the absolute worst delivery service. They almost try to exceed expectations for poor service. This particular time they left the box of $120 worth of dogfood in the pouring rain just inside the front gate rather than walking 15ft to set it on the covered porch as every other delivery driver has ever done. The only reason I knew it was delivered was the email from Chewy saying so as the driver was so far away they didn't even trigger our cameras. They didn't even open our gate to place it inside as it was sitting up against the gate and couldn't have been opened. Thankfully I double checked outside after the email or it would have been soaked though as we are having a major storm right now with flooding in California. The food itself is awesome and my dog has been on it for years. I love chewy as a whole but please reconsider your delivery service, I would rather wait a few extra days than deal with OnTrac.

The fedex delivery was horrible

The fedex driver delivered it to the wrong door also, the box looked like he'd run over it with a truck. The cans were all bent up and the bag of dry food was busted

The new “brick” shaped food in gravy

My dogs, Happy & Snowy, (Snowy’s the one that needs the urinary; vet said Happy can eat it too) are eating ALL their food now. So now I need to measure it. I decrease

My dogs, Happy & Snowy, (Snowy’s the one that needs the urinary; vet said Happy can eat it too) are eating ALL their food now. So now I need to measure it. I decrease the amount on the can according to what my vet said so I can add 10 pieces of Badlands Superfoods as they are 9 years old, and we want to keep our dogs around for a long time and as healthy as possible.

Customer service

When placing the order was told no problem, prescription on file. Someone came back over a day later saying I needed a new prescription. Then had someone else

When placing the order was told no problem, prescription on file. Someone came back over a day later saying I needed a new prescription. Then had someone else tell me i needed updated prescription stating moderate calorie is ok. Totally confused. I did go to vets office, scheduled an appt, got a new prescription. Told the vet I needed it to say moderate calorie. Vet wrote prescription to cover any kind of royal canin. Placing this order was confusing and stressful. Have never had an issue like this before.

Prescription dog food doesn’t mean bad tasting

We did not think our dog would like it because it is a prescription dog food. Were we ever wrong. She gobbles this up every time.

We use it as a treat

Our Frenchie, Sophia, is prone to struvite crystals and has been prescribed a special diet to dissolve and prevent them from reforming. We use Royal Canin SO Moderate

Our Frenchie, Sophia, is prone to struvite crystals and has been prescribed a special diet to dissolve and prevent them from reforming. We use Royal Canin SO Moderate Calorie Thin Slices as a "treat". She gets a couple of pieces after we eat a meal, so she thinks she's getting some of what we ate. We were using their dry kibble also, which did dissolve the crystals, but also gave her diarrhea (I believe she's allergic to corn and chicken meal), so except for this item, we've switched over to the WU Blue Buffalo canned and dry dog food, as it omits what she's allergic to and overall has cleaner ingredients. She enjoys the Blue Buffalo and it seems to prevent any new crystals from forming. We also use the Royal Canin Urinary treats, they're very good, and Sophia loves them!

Smelly diets for the win!

Smells so bad to our human noses but the dog loved it. I have never seen my girl so excited for meals and also so stubborn about transitioning back to normal food

Smells so bad to our human noses but the dog loved it. I have never seen my girl so excited for meals and also so stubborn about transitioning back to normal food. And while I’m not a vet and I can’t say why for sure, her bladder stone decreased pretty rapidly.

I was afraid a special diet treat would not be well liked. I was wrong. He likes them a lot!

Something New and She likes it

Wasn’t sure if she would appreciate the change in her diet but she can never get enough.
