Can this dental solution be wiped directly on the teeth undiluted (or is diluted safer?) to keep them clean? Prefer that to ingestion for my geriatric dog. Thanks.

It is recommended to mix this solution with water. For dogs, for every 25 pounds of body weight, pour 5 mL into a bowl and mix with two cups of water each day. For cats, pour 2.5 mL into a bowl and mix with one cup of water each day.

Easy to use

Measuring cap makes it easy to pour 2.5 mls in for my small cat. While i wasnt sure, he accepts this in his water. Have yet to see if it really improves his mouth

At first she wouldn’t even drink the water after the first taste. She did finally drank some during the day, about half the amount she normally drinks. That night

At first she wouldn’t even drink the water after the first taste. She did finally drank some during the day, about half the amount she normally drinks. That night she vomited her dinner. I cleaned her water dish and just gave her fresh water without the dental solution and she drank her water as usual and seemed back to normal. Since I don’t know if it made her sick or she just had an upset stomach, but I decided not to use it again.

Works very well but you have to add it gradually over time.

The product, especially because it contains pomegranate extract, is really good at helping remove plaque and freshening my dog's breath. The only downside is that

The product, especially because it contains pomegranate extract, is really good at helping remove plaque and freshening my dog's breath. The only downside is that because this product is minty, you'll have to add less than the amount your pet needs at first, and then after about a week or two, gradually increase the amount until you get to the correct amount. That way, your dog gets used to the flavor and is not shocked and offput by the taste. Her oral health seems to be improving and her teeth are looking better. Even though this is not supposed to be a replacement for brushing, for those who have difficult, high-energy and high-anxiety dogs, this water additive is much better than nothing at all. Combine this with teeth wipes or dental chews and your dog's oral health will be better.

It might work?

My dog does not like the flavor. I have put the smallest amount in his water trying to get him accustomed to the flavor but he just avoids drinking. It may work
