Can this dental solution be wiped directly on the teeth undiluted (or is diluted safer?) to keep them clean? Prefer that to ingestion for my geriatric dog. Thanks.

It is recommended to mix this solution with water. For dogs, for every 25 pounds of body weight, pour 5 mL into a bowl and mix with two cups of water each day. For cats, pour 2.5 mL into a bowl and mix with one cup of water each day.
does this product have Sodium Hydroxide?

Due to your pet's pre-existing health condition, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian to see if this is a viable option for them. Virbac's Oral Hygiene Rinse is no longer available on our site.
Can this be used with pet fountain?

This additive is recommended for stagnant water. When used in a fountain, the contents will filter out making it less likely to work.

Big dogs maybe otherwise this is bizarre

Unless someone can tell me otherwise, this is nuts. I have a 10 pound dog and a 4 pound dog. The instruction dosage is for 2 cups of water. Their bowls hold one cup. Easy enough to figure that, but now the amounts i come up with is 1 ml for the 10 pound dog and less than a half a ml for the 4 lb dog. The enclosed cup measures 2.5 ml minimum. I guess ii'll have to buy an eye dropper or a hamster syringe.

Cat and Dog refused to drink

It does have a strong smell, rather like toothpaste or mouthwash. Unfortunately, both the cat and the dog turned up their noses. Even a couple of drops in a bowl of water were enough to put them off. No idea if this actually works. The search for something besides brushing (which neither will tolerate) continues.

My pets refused to drink it

I have two cats and a dog. I started out with a tiny little drop in their water bowls and none of them would drink it. Its too minty. I didnt give it one star because I dont know if it helps with dental health or not. Maybe it does but I will never know because my pets are too stubborn. Would definitely try again if they come out with a new flavor.

The dog likes it

This was recommended by my vet now after my dog had dental surgery and was healed. To help her breath and keep teeth and gums healthy. Mo dog can no longer chew on the dental cleansing chews. She does drink the water with no problem.

Great product!

Delicious and it keeps my teeth healthy

We love the taste when added to our water. The vet recommended it and boy was he right. We are taking good care of our teeth in a tasty way.
