So does this come with the holder and light?

The light bulb is not included with the lamp.
Can I use a ceramic heat emitter light bulb with this ? 100 watts to be precise

The ceramic heat emitter can only be used in Zoo Med's Wire cage clamp lamp LF-10. If you use the ceramic heat emitter in any of their dome fixtures it may cause heat to become trapped up around the socket causing damage to the wires.
may this be used without clamp

This lamp may be used without the clamp, however the lamp clamps onto the tank for easy positioning.
Will this work on a 20g long tank for hermit crabs?

This clamp lamp system can be used on any sized tank, however, the heating needs of the housed reptile and width of your tank my be variables to consider before purchase. This lamp measures 5.5 inches in diameter, and it should not touch any of the sides of the tank.

My best and only pick

I understand this won’t satisfy everyone but I think people who don’t think this works is not using it right. Every lights and fixtures I have for my monitor are zoomed because so far I these are what works the best and most reliable. And people if the lights are not hot enough it’s not the fixtures fault. Go get a better light bulb.

Ok light but not great.

The clamping part of the light is totally useless but the rest of the light is okay so it is average so I wouldn’t buy it again no. Would I recommend it to you folks no, hunt elsewhere if you want a great light have a good day.

Unsure about this thing

Sooo my main concern is why when i bought the bulb that's suggested it doesn't work? Idk if its the lamp or the bulb to be exact but no heat ever is produced

Long lasting

This clamp lamp is very efficient and I’ve had no problems with it. Although if your going for one of those hanging lamps be aware you also have to buy a lamp stand. They are pretty expensive so make sure you fit it into your budget before rushing into it.

Overheated

I've had this lamp since august and it overheated the switch last night, causing it to not function properly. It seems i have been getting the bad batch of items that i order.

Didn’t seem stable...

It was unable to hold the weight of the bulb, and I generally didn’t trust it to not break. It could’ve been my bad (my own poor assembly) but this frankly was not what I expected nor what I needed.
