Very nice!
We’ve had a ton of fountains in the past and wanted to take a break. We have had a gravity waterer for a while and I wanted to try a new brand for a fountain. Saw this and thought we would give it a try. We have 6 cats in the home. The weight of the unit alone is a testament to the quality. It’s actually very pretty. The directions for the pump do take a second to focus on, but you eventually figure it out. All but one cat took to the fountain within minutes. The other one came around a couple hours later. It’s so quiet, which will help with skittish kitties. While I love the ceramic, it’s hard to check the water level without removing the top, which is a little bit of a pain until I learn the cats water schedule with this unit. I am worried it will slip and I’ll drop it. If there is any modification needed for this unit, this would be the only thing I would change is to have some type of level monitor. Another minor adjustment is making the cord white, only because the unit is, so it sticks out a little extra obviously. Happy with the purchase and hope it lasts.
It's a keeper
I was a little afraid when I ordered this fountain that it would be more cute and clever than functional but I was wrong. The most important thing is that my cats all like it and the design is really good. It is quiet, if that is important to you and the surface where the cats drink stays clean. The only 2 things I think would improve it is if the filter box were easier to open and close and if you could check the water level without unplugging it and taking the top off. Other than that, my crew and I are quite happy with it.
Happy Cheagle
This thing is pretty awesome. I have to admit we got it free but I want to be objective for possible purchasers. I don't know that I would buy this myself because it is a little costly and requires a bit of maintenance. With that said though, I have to admit our Cheagle sems to really enjoy it. I like the fountain aspect and the water continually circulating. The water just seems fresher due to the circulation. If you have aquariums or have had aquariums the maintenance and cleaning are going to be similar to that experience. Maybe a bit much for just a water bowl for some. Just stick with the old tried and true water bowl. If you're okay with some water pump maintenance and cleaning then this should pose no significant challenge to you. The ceramic bowl is really nice. We like it and Gurdy Man is happy!
Great fountain
I got this for my cats because I am always worried about them drinking enough water. The instructions for assembly could be a little clearer, but I figured it out without too much trouble. The ceramic bowl is really easy to clean, and there’s no disassembly or reassembly of the filter that I have to do any time I refill or clean it. Oh, and importantly, my cats drink from it all the time (totally neglecting their old water bowls). I like this product a lot.
Finicky at random times
Before buying this fountain, I looked for the best rated one and this was it. I loved this fountain at first and my cats did too. I’ve found that this fountain randomly shuts off at times, which leaves my cats with no water. I’ve tried re-reading the instructions, shutting it off 10x, and more. I’m sorry Frisco, but this fountain isn’t for us.
big bowl no flow
Honestly disappointed. There isn’t a lot of flow action for the water it just trickles out of the cloud. It is a huge bowl and holds a lot of water but my cats like the sound and movement of the water. Also there was no video of how to put it together and customer service was no help. Will be returning
near perfect fountain
This fountain is really lovely, but I couldn't figure out how the filter was assembled, and spent a long time trying to match the instructions, and failed. I have reached the age when I just get too frustrated and can't be bothered. And, I decided, that the fountain, when filled with water, was just too heavy for me. However, if you're young, love a puzzle, this is the fountain for you. It is perfect. Just not for me.
My furry friend love this
Firstly this is an awesome product. I like it comes with an additional filter. It’s a very sturdy fountain. Made to last. Very easy to clean as well as use. I have noticed sometimes it will just stop working with no warning. My girls added led lights around it. My dog likes water so seems to like to play in it. We put a puppy pad underneath. But overall we’re thoroughly pleased with this product.
Love it
My Leda loves this fountain. At first she was skiddish and kept jumping away until she realized it was her water. Now she loves it. She enjoys drinking out of it. Before I was using metal bowls which I don't think she liked to much. This helps her slow her drink down because she sometimes chokes when she drinks to fast. Holds a decent amount of water. Plugs in and moves nicely all in all nice product.
