Indication

Interceptor Plus prevents heartworm disease and treats and controls adult roundworm, hookworm, whipworm, and tapeworm infections in dogs and puppies 6 weeks or older and 2 pounds or greater.

Important Safety Information

Treatment with fewer than 6 monthly doses after the last exposure to mosquitoes may not provide complete heartworm prevention. Prior to administration of Interceptor Plus, dogs should be tested for existing heartworm infections. The safety of Interceptor Plus has not been evaluated in dogs used for breeding or in lactating females. The following adverse reactions have been reported in dogs after administration of milbemycin oxime or praziquantel: vomiting, diarrhea, decreased activity, incoordination, weight loss, convulsions, weakness, and salivation.

easy peasy

Poor handling of temperature-sensitive medicine during delivery

Package was not kept cool and was exposed to high temps during a heat wave for long enough that when it arrived, and though the exterior box was not warm, the medicine

Package was not kept cool and was exposed to high temps during a heat wave for long enough that when it arrived, and though the exterior box was not warm, the medicine inside was! This shows that the medicine had been exposed to significantly high temps. There was no cooling pack or insulation, and the shipment was scheduled by Chewy for a long travel period. I am not confident that the medicine is as effective as it should be despite Chewy's pre-shipment claim.

My vet recommended

All my other pups were just on heart guard. But when I found out that my sweet little girl had whip worm I asked my vet what did I do wrong? They said nothing it

All my other pups were just on heart guard. But when I found out that my sweet little girl had whip worm I asked my vet what did I do wrong? They said nothing it happens. Specially with pups that come from the south. Which my pup was rescued from. I asked if there was anything that would prevent this and they recommended this. Char is always been worm free of all the ones she could get. Plus heart worm. I recommend it and with future dogs use it.

I was home all afternoon, delivery truck did not come in my driveway, no one knocked on the door and I have looked all around the doors, mailbox and yard and can not see the delivery. Missing
