About

Dr. Jennifer Coates is veterinarian and writer with over 30 years of experience in veterinary medicine and animal welfare. She was valedictorian of her graduating veterinary class and has been an associate veterinarian and chief of staff in several clinics in Virginia, Wyoming, and Colorado.
 
She has written books, short stories, and thousands of articles that all relate to veterinary medicine, pet care, and the human-animal bond. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and many beloved fur friends.
