More Maintenance than Required for Naught

Cat seemed to like it - using it right as it was set up, but I ended up having to clean it maybe two to three times a week during refills. Also, the pump would struggle to resume activity after plugging in the power, and the additional filters (and replacement filters) would be too "thick" for the pump to pump in water on any setting, requiring multiple attempts at setting the lid down to set the flow of water. After about three months of use, seems the pump is now dead and replacement Frisco pumps are unavailable.

Breaks very easily!

I ordered this fountain a few weeks ago. I loved it at first - it’s cute and a good size for one cat. My cat was playing one day and landed on the fountain, causing it to tip a little and spill some water. I refilled the fountain and adjusted all of the parts, just to find that it no longer works! I’m not sure how the pump could break that easily, but it’s safe to say I’ll be investing in a different water fountain to replace this one. Don’t waste your money on this one!

Pump doesn’t last

I’ve been using this for about a month and at first all seemed great. The cat liked it and the pump was nice and quiet. However I just finished cleaning it and now the pump is apparently dead. I’m a little frustrated because it didn’t last very long at all. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a pretty common problem.

Heartbreaking

My fur kids love running water. After 2 months the motor died. Oh and after I bought 3 months of filters. Very disappointed and my poor fur kids are out of a running fountain.

Okay until it wasnt

It was great in the beginning until the motor started to produce an orange goo that wouldnt go away even with changing the filters. I would stay away.

Cat Running Water Fountains

Unsure how human can claim " Cats prefer running water." My two Tonks carefully approached this bubbling fountain and ran from it. I unplugged it so now my little one, Flash, drinks carefully from it but Magic still will not go near. Hmpf!

Such Poor Quality!

I decided to ignore the bad reviews on the whale water fountain to try it. It arrived today and it is such poor quality! The whale’s spout is crooked so all water will flow down one side. The glaze is very splotchy and uneven. It’s not decoratively or creatively glazed, it’s simply terrible quality. The whale doesn’t sit correctly on the stopper either because there is no way to get the stopper to sit evenly. I’m not even going to try to put water in it. So disappointed.
