The rubber ring around the bottom of the bowl that’s supposed to stop it from sliding around actually does nothing. It comes off ridiculously easily and conversely is the most rage-inducing event to try to get it back on the bowl after washing. If you want a bowl that doesn’t slide across the floor and which doesn’t induce daily rage, then pass on this hunk of utter garbage and buy something else.

Item arrived quickly. But was smaller & lighter than I’d anticipated! (7” was the bottom base, not the inner bowl!) Would like it to have been a little deeper, as cats “nose” the food right over the edge! (But didn’t want the real deep dish!) I wash them before each meal and have all ready made scratches in the bottoms! (Didn’t think stainless steel would scratch! My larger bowl hasn’t!)
Good for knocking food on the floor?

Both of my cats, who normally are chill and not picky eaters, absolutely refuse to eat out of these bowls. Apparently they would rather eat off the floor than use these because they will push the dry food out of the bowl with their paws onto the tile floor and eat it from there. Didn't realize bowls could be such a turn off.
No More spills

Our new puppy cannot tip this low water dish over. She's a Labrador so water is more than just a beverage it's entertainment. I recommend this dish to anyone with a pet with a water fettish.
Survives the puppy tumbles

This bowl is exactly as described. Our puppy drifts around corners and tipped over his ild bowls by running or sliding into them. We purchased these instead and have not had one spill.

Use this for my cats' water. They like to paw at their water before drinking and were always knocking over my "makeshift" bowls. So far this one has stayed upright. Was a little more shallow than expected (my fault because the measurements were in the description) so I do get some splashing, but no spillage.
Smaller than the description states.

I purchased this bowl for the larger of my two dogs. I needed a bowl that would hold about 4 cups of dry food. When I tried to fill it it took barely 3 cups and it was overflowing. I have not returned it as yet.
Smaller than promised

While the bowl does not tip over, and that is a good thing, it is much smaller than advertised. The promotional copy said it holds 4 cups, but, in reality, it holds just 2 cups of Lucy’s kibble.

Bought to leave outside for my 2 Westiepoos. Good size, durable, but rubber slide keeps coming off and hard to get back on.
Stainless? More like Rusted!

Just under 2 months and the bowl is rusting every where. I'm guessing all the other review are done right after purchase. Steer clear!
