While this top entry litter box is suitable for a multi-cat home, the rule of thumb is one litter box per cat, plus one extra.

To determine if this litter box would be a suitable size for your cat, we recommend measuring their length (from nose to hind end) to compare with the litter box dimension. The litter box measures 20.5 inches long by 14.75 inches wide and 14.38 inches tall with a top opening which measures 9 inches long by 10.5 inches wide.

Dog Proof So Far!

Son got a lg breed puppy who immediately decided kitty poop is a tasty treat. Ordered this, and it has so far worked perfectly for keeping our Husky/GSP pup out!

Son got a lg breed puppy who immediately decided kitty poop is a tasty treat. Ordered this, and it has so far worked perfectly for keeping our Husky/GSP pup out! And it has been quite helpful with keeping the amount of litter on the floor down to nearly nothing. About the only time it gets on the floor is when she exits it like she's been catapulted. Anyways, Highly Recommend! Oh, she took to it like she'd been using a fully enclosed box from birth.

I purchased this one because of the idea of the cat being able to enter from the top maybe that would prevent litter from getting on the floor. However, after receiving it, it is basically a tote with a lid full of holes. There is no filter which I should have seen from the description, but with all the good reviews, I went ahead and purchased it. There’s no way to control order with this box so basically I just purchased a really expensive Tote.

Great style litter box

I have two cats and one can be a little annoying around the litterboxes. It had led to the other cat occasionally peeing places he shouldn't. I bought them a couple more boxes to try to alleviate the problem (and the problem of them kicking litter everywhere). It took a little while but the smaller cat (11 lbs) finally figured out how to use this. While he's inside he's protected from the other cat who hasn't figured it out. Peeing in undesirable places has stopped. It's pretty easy to clean and keeps litter from being kicked outside the box. I would say it's definitely for small or medium sized cats. Large cats will not fit comfortably in this box.

It's also easy to use and clean. I have the extendable metal scoop from chewy and it is the perfect companion to the litter box.

Life. Changing.

We have a wonderful kitty who always uses the litter box and would never dream of purposely soiling our house. BUT our gal doesn’t squat so she needs a totally enclosed

We have a wonderful kitty who always uses the litter box and would never dream of purposely soiling our house. BUT our gal doesn’t squat so she needs a totally enclosed box because it’s going to hit the wall and drip and liquid finds cracks and then it’s on the floor. And if your cat butt isn’t inside the door it’s messy. So many a day scooping the box meant cleaning up urine. Top entry solved all our problems and she took right to it (she’s also wary of doors on boxes). Zero accidents and so much easier to scoop. My only regret is not doing this sooner. The scoop is a bit flimsy for my liking but the box is sturdy and well made.

Helps reduce litter in house

I bought this after having some tall rectangle little boxes to help keep litter from getting all over the house. It has definitely helped reduce the amount of litter

I bought this after having some tall rectangle little boxes to help keep litter from getting all over the house. It has definitely helped reduce the amount of litter I find throughout the house so that’s been great. It’s big enough for our 11lb 2 year old cat to use with no issues. I don’t really use the scooper it came with because it’s tiny and it collects litter in the handle then litter falls on the floor and gets all over so I use a different scooper. The only other thing that can be kinda annoying is trying to get mess by the curved sides but it’s not a big deal. I’d definitely recommend this if you want to reduce litter tracking in the house.

Finally able to stop roommate’s cat from getting into my cat’s litterbox! My cat has been having health issues so I am relieved to be able to keep up with my cat’s poos & make sure everything is okay! It’s also helped with roommate’s cat’s dominance issues- my cat has been 100% less anxious with his private restroom. Love this litterbox!
