For the price it does the job. Bought these for my 10-year-old 85 lb American Bulldog. He has a harder time getting up into the back of the minivan now. The stairs themselves are great its the handles that help them fold up are what I'm having issues with. They seem to jam and I can see the stress fractures starting in the plastic. But they are sturdy enough that my dog has no issue going up them.
These steps are fantastic! Super easy to open and close. I was actually going to order another one for my son's dog and I'm sad to see they're out of stock. I'm hoping they will get them back in.
It has taken awhile to train my dog to use the steps but now he is consistently using them. Easily opened and closed. I guide his legs on the steps and he climbs up. Such a backsaver for my 128 pound mastiff.
I have been looking for a long time for stairs to help our eleven-year-old, seventy-seven pound Golden Retriever get into the back of our SUV. These stairs are the best! They are strong (hold up to three hundred pounds). They fold flat, and can be stored anywhere in the car. They open and close with one easy motion. Our dog learned to use them in a short time (using treats of course). I highly recommend this product.
loved it but just snapped while hubby using . Otherwise we liked it
Easy up Easy Down Easy to pop open Easy to pop close Easy inside to bed Easy outside to SUV Easy weight to carry easy weight to maneuver Easy use by senior Dogs senior citizens and finally Easy to train one little Treat to your best friend and your ready to Go Easy G
Great product! Worth 7 stars but chewy only gets 3 stars because of the "dog people will buy anything mark up". You can buy this exact same product from camping world for half of the cost! I have 3 of these, that I bought from camping world. They are great!
Cassini immediately was able to walk stairs and get into Dodge Ram truck. For Scout it took a couple tries but quickly learned. I should have bought this sooner.
These steps are unbelievably lightweight, yet sturdy for our 100-pound dog to use. He hasn't lost traction on the covered steps. In the times where he decides to walk halfway down then push off to jump the rest of the way, the stairs have continued their stability. I am easily able to collapse them for storage and lift them into the vehicle. Bonus: these fit beside the side door for our dog to use them to get into the vehicle by the second-row seats, not just from the back under the lift gate.
these are perfect. i considered getting my senior dog a ramp and i am so glad i didnt. they fold and unfold super easy, and he feels secure on them because of the size and grip. they could be a little bigger cause he has a bit of trouble getting his back paws on the first step before putting his front paws on the second step - but he has relatively short and unflexible legs (pit/lab mix)
