These natural bones are completely digestible and perfectly safe, however to prevent injury and choking hazard, please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat. It's recommended that if these bones splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet’s safety.

i want to preface this with the fact that my dog is an abnormally rough chewer and no toy has lasted her more than a couple weeks (most last a few hours, even the ones labeled “indestructible”). gave this to my beagle mix ~2 hours ago and a quarter of it is already gone. she’s chipped off a few ~3-inch pieces and i doubt the bone will see the end of tomorrow. compared to her usual time frame for destroying toys and chews, though, this thing has held up okay. it’s pretty huge and VERY solid so if your dog is normal and doesn’t have the jaws of saatan it’s probably a great buy, but not made for the very rough chewers.

My pit-bull just got out of surgery, because roughly 60-70 shards of this bone were stuck inside of his stomach. The shards are so sharp that they imbedded into his stomach within hours. Puking & pooping pure blood. Thousands later, he’s okay & that’s what matters. Never ever ever buy this bone, it could harm your pet. Grateful for my vet and wonderful care at our animal ER for getting this junk out of him. Bless my baby’s heart!

The downsides for equally enthusiastic chewers.. 1) My human servant always needs scissors to open them, 2) my human servant always distracts me with a treat and steals this rib at the first sound of the sweet bone splinter, and 3) my human servant frequently has to vacuum my bone eating spot. These 12" rib bones got two paws up from both my Beagle and my Havanese. I probably should have gotten the 6" instead of the 12" for their size but it didn't affect the quality of the product only the ability of my pups to carry them around and try to hide them. So just be aware that it is a full 12 inches and take into consideration which size is best for your canine family member. Also, these have held up well. My pups chewed heavily on them the first few hours, got all the baked on sauce off and cleaned up the mess from the kitchen floor before leaving them until the next day. Now about 10 days out they rotate between this rib bone, a large knuckle, and a ham bone depending on what their mood is at the time. I would recommend them all if your fur baby is a chewer.
