Weruva is a family company, wholly owned and operated by pet parents David and Stacie Forman. They originally developed Weruva, a luxurious natural pet food, for their three rescued cats: Webster, Rudi and Vanessa. After searching for the best cat food under the sun to feed them, they realized the best wasn’t good enough and developed these fantastic recipes using quality sourced ingredients.
One of my cats who came to me in 2009 as a feral rescue kitten suddenly stopped eating. She had been extremely ill for the first two years of her life due to a severe herpes virus infection but due to the special care my vet gave her, she is now 13. My vet closed his office in 2019 so it's been hard to find another for her due to her special situation and fear. When she stopped eating, I thought I may lose her after three days of refusing to eat anything. I ordered Weruva chicken with pumpkin and was able to easily syringe feed her several times a day for three weeks and then suddenly, she was eating again on her own. She has always been very specific about her food but loved this puree and even began eating it off the plate. She now eats a couple of other foods but I still ensure that she eats this food every day. I call this a life-saving food for my little one.
When all else fails Tigger is pretty good with this good. He either eats it all or picks at it. That is when we stop for a few days Then start again.
Okay this flavor is odd when you first consider it, but my kitties love the pumpkin! Its literally their favorite flavor now.
I decided to try this food because I have read up on this brand and 90% is very good. My middle kitty, Binx, needs to drink more water. This food seems to be a hit and it adds hydration! So far, Todd, my picky eater is eating it!
Food was like jelly, cats did not like it, they all 4 threw up, even with the food I'm try to replace
I purchased a case of this after a test run with a can purchased at the store. My cat ate it twice, then turn his nose up at it. I gave the case to my daughter who has two cats and it was no go! She then gave it to a friend with two cats who agreed they were not eating it either. She then fed it to the raccoons who happily consumed it and came back for seconds!
My sweet 18 year old skinny cat was loosing weight. The vet and I decided that at her age if she didn't like the "medical" food, we should find out what she will eat. (25% drop in her weight). She LOVES this food and sometimes will eat two small cans. It also is a good food for her to eat.
Tired something new and it was a no go for us. My kitty wanted nothing to do with it.
Being a self-respecting cat, I won't allow this stuff on the menu. One sniff was all it took for me and my peers, and we all gave the human a LOOK.
If you have fish sensitive cats - AVOID THIS ONE - tuna is the 2nd ingredient
