Sometimes on special days we just have the delicious pumpkin chicken by itself. I think the pumpkin is also good for her digestion and bowels. If your cat cannot eat anything with fish in it do not buy this product.

I can understand why some people are turned off by it, but it’s cat food, not human food. My cat especially likes it when I don’t mash it and gives it a good bite through it. That being said, it’s a very healthy can of food. Cat poop is solid every time. He barely drinks water too. He goes crazy for this food and only wants this flavor.

This isn't what I call a true "pate" which is fine with me as most pates do not contain enough liquid and we need water. As Healthy cats we frequently rely upon our food for our source of water not a water bowl. This is more of a "liquidy" pate which is a good thing. Adding some pumpkin is Purrfect as a little fiber is always helpful. For those who think it will give us the runs, not so. Fiber will add bulk if needed or help us get that intestinal track moving. I first sniffed, licked and walked. Mom added some of my favorite flavor to this and I ate it. Now I will eat a can! Of course this small can isn't enough for me, I'm a big boy but it's a start. The 4 star rating is due to the following: there is a bit of tuna and although MANY foods are multi flavored, we, if left on our own would be single protein eaters. I mean, really have you seen any of us sitting under a tree waiting for a bird, eat that then run to the ocean looking for a tuna? But this is how companies do it now. Next, the texture is a bit off putting for some,and lastly, the price point is a bit high but that isn't my problem. she says we will keep buying it!

Because it's called chicken and pumpkin pate I never thought that a chief ingredient would be tuna. But as soon as I opened the can, I smelled fish--strongly. I checked the ingredients. It's full of tuna. Tuna is full or mercury and other heavy metals. And my cat has a fish allergy. Chewy, though, was great as always, offering a refund. I'll have to read the labels of Weruva products from now on. Can't rely on the names, unfortunately.
