will not purchase again!
By dentalcare on Mar 30, 2021
I was very disappointed with this product! The pump spray does not function easily. After chasing my dog around and finally getting his mouth open, the pump malfunctioned and I wasn't able to dispense any of the spay onto his teeth. This was not a one time occurrence. I have 4 dogs and each time I attempted to use the spray the pump would not work. I even tried spraying it into the sink just to see if it would work and it was extremely difficult. Most of the fluid ran down the bottle and did not come out as a spray. I will use another brand in the future.

I purchased this item for my Pat the sprayer does not work I can't get anything to pump out of it it's such a hassle to call or text and then have to send item back and then get another one something I don't want to do so I guess I'll just have to throw it away and learn my lesson not to buy that again I can't find anywhere to return so I guess I'm just stuck with it dislike

Works wonders if you stick with it!

I am almost done with the first bottle that I bought. I add it to both my dogs' water bowls at least once daily. At first, I wasn't completely sure that it was working. I have two pit bulls, one is 8 years old girl and the other is a boy at 9 months. I've been vigilant with the puppy's dental hygiene but I wasn't aware of the importance of a dog's dental hygiene for the first few years of owning my 8 y/o. Her back teeth in particular were a pretty dark brown, to the point where almost no white was visible when first starting to use the spray (really wish I took before photos to compare. Didn't think the spray would actually work). Neither dog really appreciated having it directly sprayed into I am almost done with the first bottle that I bought. It's been a few months of using this and my 8y/o pittie's teeth are almost all "white" now! Of course, they aren't the puppy white kind but it is very noticeable that almost all the built-up brown is off of her teeth. I try to brush her teeth every now and then but the spray helps SO much compared to brushing alone. Neither dog has shown any sort of negative reaction to having it in their water. This really says something because both of my dogs' stomachs are so sensitive to everything. As long as you use it as directed (one-two times daily) then I promise you will see an amazing improvement in your dog's teeth! … more

Dog didn't like
By Audra on Jan 5, 2021
I can't really comment on the product itself if it works or not. My dog was not interested in his water when spraying this in there. I went ahead and attempted spraying a q-tip to try and clean his teeth that way and he just runs and fights me. I didn't want to give it a poor rating on performance, but took off one star due to maybe the flavoring.

Great stuff
By MiasMomma on Jan 25, 2021
This spray works wonders. My dog has had bad breathe and tartar and she didn't like anything else I tried to give her until now. Her breath smells soo much better and her tartar buildup is almost gone.

good water additive
By Minnymo on Dec 18, 2020
I have used this in my 12 year old dog's water and it works well to help control bad breath. I still brush his teeth every night. He doesn't mind the taste of this spray even though it smells minty and it lasts a long time. I was pleased to find it on Chewy.

Cate hates it - really minty.
By RagdollMadison on Dec 4, 2020
My rag doll cat hates it. Wont touch water with it. I have been spraying his gum line after brushing - he drools like a dog afterward because he hates it so much. I will probably continue using it to see if it makes a difference with plaque build up, but I might switch brands.

Minty fresh
By Britt on Jan 2, 2021
My dog tolerates this stuff but he's not thrilled about it, he seemed to prefer the last brand I had tried but they don't make anymore. But it's effective, breath is nice and minty.

“It takes a village”
By malachi on Aug 20, 2020
My Dog (Luca) and Cat (Malachi) are not pets to me, but they are my kids! They have brought joy and light into my life (“Luca” means bringer of light!), and there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for them. My dog has some periodontal issues so I decided to try out this spray. I did exactly as the bottle suggested—spraying some on a plate to have them taste it—and they LOVE it! I have only had it for a day or two so i will have to see how it works on Luca’s periodontal issues. But so far, the kids have been curious and eager to lick it up, and I’ve sprayed it in their water bowl and they have been drinking the water normally, if not more! I love that a portion of the proceeds goes toward charity. On the bottle it says to take a picture of my kids with the bottle and email it to the company Pets Are Kids Too and they will donate some of what I paid for the spray to a charity. I got an email back that was personalized and it included a picture of a dog that we were helping through our purchase! His name is Gizmo and he is so adorable! I think Pets Are Kids Too has something really special going here. I’m excited to see how this seed grows and blooms moving forward! Loving our kids (pets and actual kids) is the best thing you can do for all kids (pets and actual kids, respectively). Whether you realize it or not, somehow and someway, love for our kids/pets gets paid forward to other kids—to the collective—nurturing them, and showing up when they need you the most. So, yes, “it takes a village”. … more

I brush my dogs teeth then use this. No bad breath. One of my dogs i scraped the plaque off his back teeth first and now brush them regularly then use this. I recommend it
