  • Dog Loves it

My big dog is a picky eater when it comes to dog food. He also deals with environmental allergy problems. We have tried two different brands of food already and then discovered the Advanced Allergy Formula. This week he has been munching all his food not leaving a piece behind. Finally found a brand that works for him, his allergy problems, and his taste buds.

  • Puppy Loves This Food

My puppy gets this food for lunch and dinner. He loves it! In fact, he loves the entire line of Brother's Complete Advanced Allergy Care. The only ingredient I don't care for is the alfalfa meal. Other than that, everything is incredible! It is one of the best foods on the market and I highly recommend it to all dogs, not just ones with allergies!

  • My Only Issue

    By on

My only issue is it doesn't have a ziplock unlike their one flavor to contain moisture. A few weeks after opening, the food pebbles are so dry (we live in the desert) and my pup seems to be annoyed chewing hard, dry food.

  • Emma approved!!

    By on

I switched to this, after hearing about the heavy metal lawsuit against Acana and Orijen. I do not want to take any chances with my precious Emma. I would rather pay higher prices then put my pup at risk. I picked this brand and flavor because it gets high ratings, has never had any recalls and maybe it may help her itchy skin. So far Emma eats it with gusto, but she still scratches at her face. The kibble is smaller, than Acana.

  • Trying New Food for Skin Allergies

    By on

We haven’t had this food long enough to know if our dog will benefit from the allergy issues, but she loves the taste. Will hold off recommending until we’ve had enough time to see results. Fingers crossed we’ll see good effects. We love Chewy, too!

My dog loves the taste but it has not done much for her itching. Will be trying Orijen next.

  • GREAT DOG FOOD!

    By on

My 3 Frenchies love this food. I started with the lamb flavor and switched to turkey for a change. I’ve tried raw, other premium dog foods and Brothers Complete is great! One of my dogs has allergies and this food really helps. It’s a family owned company and made in small batches. I will continue purchasing this food. Chewys is a great place to buy my dog food.

  • So far, so good

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I've been having a lot of trouble with allergies in my dogs (a mini + a standard poodle). I've tried all kinds of high quality grain-free, limited ingredient diets. So far, Brothers seems to be helping reduce the itching, and both my dogs like it, so that's good. But it's early in the process -- I only just started feeding them Brothers food about 2 weeks ago -- so time will tell if this food continues to work for us. My husband and I are happy about one other effect -- the quality of their stools is much better than before (sorry about the poo discussion, but it's relevant). Let's just say, they seem to be digesting this food much better than any of the other foods I've given them. This is the first healthy food my dogs love. Recommended by Dog Advisory. Shipping was FAST! When I start to run low, I never have to worry. With Chewy.com, I usually receive food within 1-2 days. Getting ready to reorder now :)
