Frisco Cinching Insulated Dog & Cat Parka with Sleeves

After reading the reviews I ordered the medium size recommended for my larger dog ( terrier/chihauhau mix #14) figuring it was too small that it would fit my slightly small dog ( dachshund/italian greyhound mix #11). Coat fits both dogs fine. I was pleasantly surprised how warm it is so I gave it to smaller dog as she is always cold. The waist cinch is nice as she is a very skinny dog. The hood with the neck snap on keeps her neck and ears covered but keeps hood from falling over her eyes. The only drawback is the snap for the pocket pulled through the fabric after only 3-4 uses. I measured according to the guide and ordered accordingly. The jacket I got was so snug, I can’t get my dog in and out of it easily, so I’m returning. The only way to really get a dog into it is to put one leg through the sleeve, the. Put them on their back and tuck their leg in, find the second sleeve and pull it through. You’ve got to have an agreeable pooch to pull that off. Even after that, it was so snug on my dog, I didn’t bother zipping him in and he struggled to walk because it was so tight on his upper front legs.

Our dog Rusty loves his new Parka! I ordered one size up than his size chart. We live in Salt Lake where it get's cold... but we can now take him out with out worries of him shaking. The quality is Awesome.

I got the XXXL for my pup I even measured her so it shouldn’t have been tight but it still was around her chest. I’m still gonna use it just wanna warn you if you have a large dog it’ll be snug

This looked well made and fit my 16lb Westie perfectly, but his harness loop does not line up with the slit in the parka. it was hard to tell from the photo where the slit for the harness loop was.

I read the reviews before purchasing so I sized up to an XL (my dog isn't even 30lbs - should wear a medium) and the XL is too small. The jacket itself is really cute and looks like it's made well, but it just will not fit him.

The coat is great with the legs for warmth. The little man is always cold in his old age. Been looking for something like this. He is a 14lb. Pomapoo and size M fits perfectly.

We tried to heed advice and order bigger but we can’t get both legs in- it’s too small. We ordered a medium for our mini schnauzer who is 11 lbs. Get two or three sizes up even after measuring!

Definitely order a size up from whatever you measured. Love the coat, nice and soft inside. Seems water resistant. Harness slot. Functional pocket for poo bags. My pup and I both like it.
