Keep your fur baby’s coat looking sleek and shiny with the powerful brushing action of the Hertzko Self-Cleaning Dog & Cat Slicker Brush. This easy-to-use grooming tool is perfect for gently and effectively removing even the most stubborn of tangles and knots from your pet’s undercoat, thanks to the uniquely designed bristles that curve slightly to penetrate thick fur, without scratching or irritating the skin. Your furry best friend will have a shinier coat and healthier skin in no time, and the comfortable anti-slip handle helps to prevent wrist strain, no matter how long you brush your pet. And cleanups are a snap, thanks to the automatic retraction button, which pulls the bristles back up into the brush, instantly leaves leaving it fur-free and ready for your pet’s next grooming.
Perfect for brushing out tangles and knots on cats and dogs of any shape or size, with any length or type of coat.
Quickly clean brush for the next use by simply pressing the bristle retraction button and wipe away the furry mess.
Unique bristles gently penetrate even thick fur to remove mats and tangles, without any painful skin irritation.
Comfortable, durable and anti-slip handle grip allows for long grooming sessions without the straining hands or joints.
Massaging action from combing helps to increase circulation, leaving pets looking well-groomed and feeling tip-top.
Press the button to get the bristles pointing out of the brush.
Angle the teeth of the brush in the same direction as your pet's coat. In other words, brush from head to tail. * When you’re done brushing, simply press the button again and the bristles will retract into the brush making it super simple to clean with just a single swipe with your finger!
It is true that the brush has a mechanism to cleanly eject the fur. HOWEVER, the ejection mechanism is the default. In order to bare the combs in the brush you have to hold down the button on the handle quite firmly, which is tiring and uncomfortable. But the second you ease up on it, the plastic bar comes up over the slicker tines and ejects the hairs....so its hard to keep up steady brushing.
It would be much more satisfactory/useful if the button could lock into place for actual brushing/grooming and then be released to eject the hair. Yes, its easy to clean; but more difficult that necessary to use as a brush. I was disappointed.
Never using another brush again

I bought this on a whim the other day because I was looking for something to manage my cat's dander as we get closer to the holiday season, since we always end up having a lot of guests. I wasn't totally sure if my cat would like this brush because of the metal bristles, but it was on sale for insanely cheap and I thought I may as well try it.
Well... I've already tossed her old brush away. She immediately started purring the first time I used this brush on her, and even let me brush part of her tummy, which she is always a hit or miss about. I could probably brush her for hours with this thing and she'd just sit there in pure bliss. But that isn't even the best part; this brush is way easierI bought this on a whim the other day because I was looking for something to manage my cat's dander as we get closer to the holiday season, since we always end up having a lot of guests. I could probably brush her for hours with this thing and she'd just sit there in pure bliss. But that isn't even the best part; this brush is way easier to clean than her old brush, and I can just slide all of the hair and dander the brush picked up straight into the garbage, with barely any of it flying away into the air. The only thing I wish I had done was get the smaller brush, since I have a smaller cat, but I don't necessarily mind this regular sized one since it can hold more hair while brushing.
I wish I could give this six stars. My mom wants a human version for herself. Best spur of the moment purchase I've made for my cat.… more
A Very Good Brush

I've lived with dogs for over 50 years, so I've been through a lot of brushes and grooming items. Our Australian Cattle dog did not like other wire brushes we've had, she would shy away when I pulled out "The Brush". This new Hertzko brush is great Lilly loves getting brushed now, and it does a great job removing loose hair, Our Corgi, Sean has real dense double coat, like German Shepards, he likes this brush also and it does a great job on his coat as well. Excellent brush. Couldn't believe the difference.
Great brush so far!

I’ve only used this once on my 2 Pekes but it has worked pretty well. I love the self cleaning feature! The bristles are just a bit short for a long coat on a Peke, but they’re not too sharp so perhaps I can press a bit firmer. May require getting used to it. But my Pekes didn’t mind it, and I’m very glad I bought it!
Best of the Best

I have 2 Siberian huskies with this brush doing wonders on them. The bristles work outstanding to pull out their undercoat and the button allowing to collapse bristles makes removing hair from brush simple. An amazing feature as I’ve scratched my fingers on other brushes in the past. I highly recommend!
Starts Great then Ends Bad

This started out working really well then the button began to stick. After a while the button would not lock anymore. Without locking, impossible to use the brush.

Such an easy brush to use and clean. First time I used it on our cat, it removed so much hair I was astounded. Guess the old brush really needed replacing.
Brush is easy to clean

This slicker brush is great. It works great remove my dog's hair. And when I'm done, I push a button and the entire hunk of hair comes off easily. It's so easy to clean. The handle is comfortable to hold too. I'd highly recommend this brush for any longer-haired dog.
Not as good as advertised

Bought this for my cats. Have both long hair and short hair. Comb advertises for both cats and dogs. Comb itself is awkward to handle, way to big and comb teeth are sharp! None of the cats liked it.
This is awesome

This brush is great on long haired dogs. No trying to clean hair from bristles, they pop right off. Well worth the money!
