Great stuff. My kitten had a lot of congenital issues when we got him. One was that he was hungry all the time but couldn’t gain weight. We gave him this medicine 2x a day and he went from 4lbs at 6 months to a 1 year old 9.5 pound kitty. It helps him gain weight and get his nutrients and as a result keeps him from feeling starving all the time. I’d ask my vet before giving it but I definitely recommend when necessary!
Tried two enzyme products for our cat with pancreatic problems, one from the vet, a prescription through Chewy.com. Both were problematic, especially so because our cat just would not eat the mix (with pate). This one, no prescription needed is the best: First, our cat likes it, mixed in with his rabbit pate, apparently no funny taste (as with others); second, it mixes like a dream, not too coarse, not too powdery. The only down side is that the mix is supposed to be done 15-20 minutes before giving it to the cat -- really!? Do these people have cats? So, we try our best to hide the sound of can-opening. The added benefit of the B-12 in the enzyme mix may not be as good as we had hoped. Our Chewy (named that by Humane Society) greatly benefits from B-12 shots (weekly); we stopped those to test out the B-12 addition to Panzquin as sufficient. Does not seem to have the same positive results, and I am pretty sure we will have to continue with weekly or bi-weekly B-12 shots. I recall that shots were needed because "oral" B-12 was not as effective for this disease. Our Chewy, when he misses a weekly B-12 shot, gets very food anxious (like a starving cat); and has behavioral problems (peeing to get our attention). With the shot, he is calmer, eats without anxiety. No pee! Hooray! Because B-12 is water soluble, I hope our vet agrees that we can continue with the Panzquin AND the B-12 shots without any issues.
I just discovered this stuff about 3 weeks ago and it has been a game changer!!! My lab has been having ongoing pancreatitis flare ups and I've done everything I could to slow or stop the flare ups( vet prescribed low fat diet, probiotics, and a new lifetime prescription of a antibiotic)antibiotics. Then I found this stuff and thought what the heck, I've tried everything else! Well this has been amazing. The huge inconvenience is how much it costs per bottle. But in the end if it stops the flare ups and let's my lab live a normal life, I will gladly pay for it.
Was prescribed for my dog, because of a problem with her pancreas. Works great, my dog was much better within a day or two. Would recommend this product.
This enzyme has turned my dog around. She has put on weight and her poop looks like poop instead of muddy water. My only question is....Has anyone else had issues with paw licking after starting this medicine?
