Will this hurt my dog to lick it?
Answer by ChewyApr 07, 2020
After applying the spray, we recommend deterring your pet from grooming the area until it dries. It is safe for them to lick the area however, if they lick it right away it won't be as effective.

No more scratching

My lab sometimes has issues with pollen. He begins to scratch himself excessively. Vet’s Best Works. I spray on him , rub it into his skin and no more scratching. I gave it to my friend for her dog and she uses it to.

eh! Didn't help!

Just didn't do the trick! We tried it many times to no avail. Possibly other problems existed!

Scratching

Didn't work for my puppy, He kept scratching even right after spraying or 5 mins after. It might work for other animals.

Didn't work on my dog

This did not work on my dog. He would still be itchy and chew on his back and then got sick from consuming the product.

Not very itchy now!

I bought this thinking it was the hot spot spray. Kept and used it anyway and my dog definitely scratches less now!

Product gave a severe reaction

I bought this itching product to calm my dog until I could get her appointment with the vet, I sprayed on her hair/skin but she consumed some of this product in her mouth while scratching herself! That night she become feverishly, very hot, panting constantly and honestly I thought she was going to died on me! I wet her completely to tried to get the product off her skin, and after a while she started to feel a little better! I couldn’t get an appt with the Emergency Clinic because they told me they had 8 hrs waiting with lots of cases! An awful night for me and my dog!
