Troubleshooting Techniques
Q: I followed the SmartLink method to set up Pawbo⁺ with my home wireless network, but connection keeps failing. A: Please check the following scenarios: * Make sure that your mobile device is connected to your home wireless network * Make sure Pawbo⁺ and wireless AP are within close distance * Your wireless AP name (SSID) cannot contain characters other than alphabets, numbers, underscore * Pawbo⁺ supports 2.4G wireless network, if your wireless AP has both 2.4G and 5G channels, make sure your mobile device is connected to the 2.4G channel Q: During installation, I am receiving error messages for the new password I have chosen. A: Passwords must be 6-16 characters, and include both alphabets and numbers (case sensitive/ symbols cannot be used).

Why doesn't Pawbo⁺ have infrared night vision?
We believe that night vision images and video clips do not accurately portray your pet.

What is the difference between Pawbo⁺ and pet food dispensers?
Our concept is to provide ""treats"" not ""meals"". Our specially designed treat dispenser allows you to watch and reward your pets at the right moment.
Can I hide the function buttons on my screen?
Tap anywhere in the middle of the screen to hide function buttons on the screen, tap again and they will reappear.
When feeding treats, why is it that when I press the button two consecutive times, I do not receive a response for the second time?
When Pawbo⁺ receives a feeding command, the motors are activated. To protect the life span of the motor, there is a 3 second interval in between receiving each command.
If I exit the app after pressing the video recording function, will the video continue to record?
Exiting the app will cause video recording to stop, unless someone else is still connected to your Pawbo⁺.
What is the longest duration for a single recording?
To limit file size and excessive time required to sync files, a single video will automatically stop after 15 minutes of recording. When I connect to Pawbo⁺, video recording is initiated before I press the video recording function. Pawbo⁺ supports up to 8 simultaneous connections. Please check if someone else is connected. When more than 1 person is connected to Pawbo⁺ simultaneously, if one person presses the video recording function, the recording icon will also appear on the other person's screen.
Are the photos taken stored to my mobile phone?
Photos are stored directly to mobile phones. When two people access at the same time, they can both take pictures and simultaneously access to share or post pictures.
My Pawbo⁺ is installed at home, how can family members living overseas access it?
In your Pawbo Life App settings, select “QR code”, then store the QR code to your mobile device. You can share the access of your Pawbo⁺ with your family members by sending them the QR code along with your Pawbo⁺ password.
What to do if I forget my Pawbo⁺ connection password?
Your password is stored on your Pawbo⁺ device not in other server system. If you forget your Pawbo⁺ password, please reset it by pressing the reset button at the rear of the device with a pin or needle for 10 seconds until a blinking green light appears while Pawbo⁺ is plugged in. Please note after the reset, your Pawbo⁺ settings will be restored to default and you will need to setup again.
Limited Warranty Policy
PAWBO Inc. (“PAWBO”) warrants to the consumer (“Consumer” or “You”), and only to hardware products manufactured by or for PAWBO that can be identified by the “PAWBO” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to them (“Products”). PAWBO will repair or provide services, at no charge, Products that proves defective under normal use and maintenance in accordance with this Limited Warranty Policy (“Warranty”).
Warranty Conditions and Period
Any receipts or proof of purchase must be included for all repairs/services request by Consumer. · This warranty is limited from the original date of purchase (invoice date) for 1 year period. If your receipt is lost, the warranty period will be determined from the date of production. Warranty Exclusions
The Warranty does not cover and Pawbo is not responsible for: * Physical or man-made damages, such as scratches or cracks on the exterior of Product are not covered by the warranty. * Damages caused by incorrect use, installation of Product unrecognized by Pawbo, power interruption or abnormal voltage input, operations in a harsh environment, or any other inappropriate uses. * Disassembly of Product by anyone other than an authorized Pawbo technical staff. * Damages caused by improper transportation or packaging when returning the Products to Pawbo or Pawbo distributor for repairs. * Damages to Product caused by external forces, including but not limited to, lightning strike, fire, earthquake, flood and high wind strength or other force majeure event. * Warranty does not cover the following non hardware related problems: Product does not meet your expectations. / Product does not take or save pictures or videos at a speed of your satisfaction. / Any other problems that are not directly related to the normal functionality of Product.

It’s not as good as I hoped.

This was the only one available a couple of years ago that let us use our own treats. Our dog has a restricted diet. What we found is the picture is just OK and the sound is awful. There is no picture at night. You can talk to your pet but it won’t sound like your voice. Not even a little. It has to be filled often.

I bought this over the summer thinking I would be able to track my cat when I was on vacation and move the camera around. The camera does not move around and it only stays on one fixed location. It also does not tell you when there is motion. I was very sad using this product and was not worth the money I had spent. :(

Definitely NOT worth the money! Poor quality, camera lags, and way too expensive. We’ve found better alternatives for way less and far better. Save yourself the hassle by NOT purchasing.

Item arrived on time and in good condition, however it was not able to be set up! The directions that came with it were very unhelpful and after 2-3 hours I decided to give up.

Absolute waste of money. Unable to set up, zero customer support options. Any of the reset prompts would not work. There is no ability to reset your password even on the app so if you happen to forget you have to reset the whole device, which breaks WiFi connection if you had it, and then leads you down a frustrating cycle of not being able to set up the device nor get any help from any of the products makers. Worst product support I’ve ever encountered. Zero support. Very frustrated at the financial lack of return on investment. I have not been able to use this once with my pet.

Like the product, some support issues

We recently purchased a Pawbo camera and absolutely loved being able to see our cats while not at home. Unfortunately, the kitten thought the best part of the camera was chewing on the power cable. This meant that Pawbo's life was literally cut short. We immediately reached out to Pawbo customer service to see about purchasing a new cable. We tried multiple avenues to get in touch with that company and had no success after about a week. With an upcoming trip planned, we really wanted to be able to look in on our cats. We decided to reach out to Chewy customer service to see if they might be able to put us in contact with Pawbo. To our delight, the Chewy customer service agent was very We recently purchased a Pawbo camera and absolutely loved being able to see our cats while not at home. Disappointed

So disappointed. Doesn’t connect what a hassle! Never had such a hard time with connection to WiFi, tried it at work just be sure. Was so excited to be able to throw treats and play with my cat remotely. Return to sender. :(

Not worth the money

This isn't worth the price. My dog ignored my voice and treats from the camera. It also makes a loud noise when you turn it on, which startled him. You can't tilt the angle at all so really hard to get a good angle. And it's huge! Save your money, go with a cheaper camera with noise trigger.

Clear Image

The image from the camera is clear but that is the only thing good about this item. The sound is muffled and hard to understand. The treat dispenser tray is small limiting what can be used. The set up was a challenge and the instructions limited leaving it a challenge on learning how to operate it.

I bought the Pawbo about 2 weeks ago. It was a fairly easy set up, and despite poor video quality, it otherwise worked as advertised. It has now disconnected and despite all attempts to reestablish connectivity, I cannot access it unless I’m connected to my home wifi (which makes it absolutely useless). This problem has been made far worse by the fact that the support and the Pawbo website has been completely disabled. There is no help to be found. I have gone through numerous fixes myself including deleting the app and totally resetting the device to factory default. Nothing works. Stay away. Absolutely DO NOT BUY.
