Is it possible to find out what the "clumping agent" is?
Answer by ChewyJul 04, 2017
The clumping agent is a propriety blend of ingredients that the manufacturer is not able to disclose.

This product isnt the pine pellets, oorrect?

This clumping pine litter is not in pellet form.

Do small clumps become sawdust?
Answer by ChewyJul 15, 2018
Sawdust byproduct from lumber mills is collected and compressed into tiny pellets to make this litter. These pellets act like tiny sponges that absorb urine and break apart into sawdust.

Is it flushable?
Answer by ChewyJun 16, 2021
Please dispose of used cat litter in the trash. We do not recommend flushing due to possible environmental contamination.

every litter has trade offs....

Doesn't clump super well and honestly the tracking is insane.... HOWEVER. It smells amazing. I have never once in 5 years noticed the smell of pee in my tiny apartment - and its as enviro friendly as it gets. At this point, I'm fairly used to the dust and tbh the clumping doesnt bother me. Maybe someday those priorities will change but the odor absorption is too good to pass up right now.

What is clumping?

I did not like this litter at all. The clumps are just wet pine saw that falls apart as soon as you try to scoop it up. The box is in the small downstairs bathroom and can get cleaned 3-4 times a day. Am I supposed to let the clumps dry? Does offer great odor control, but I would not call it clumping.

Not For Us

I love the smell of this cat litter & the order control is awesome; however, I do not like how it scoops. I’m trying to find an alternative to the clay litter but scooping this takes so much more time & I feel like I’m throwing away usable litter that gets caught in the scoop. I’m doing it manually & it is extra work & so much extra time. Nope.

Wonderful, but need bigger bag

I absolutely love this litter, but I really really wish it came in a bigger bag... I have 5 cats and do rescue work so a bigger bag would be amazing cause these ones go way too fast!

I was hoping this would work, it did not - this is a mushy mess!

I have three cats with allergies therefore clay litter is not the best for them. I love the Feline Pine pellets, but my cats will not use it to poop as they cannot bury it; they will pee, but not poop, in the pellets. This "clumping litter" DOES NOT clump AT ALL, it is a mushy mess that falls apart and it is very dusty. The only "good" thing is that it does not track as much as clay litter does.

Best cat litter ever

I love this litter. It smells so nice, clumps really well and feels so much nicer than clay litter, which scratches our wood floors. There is an original version of Feline Pine too, which does not clump, and I do not recommend that one at all. The packaging is almost identical so be careful you’re buying the one that says “clumping “ on the bag. can’t find the clumping type in our local stores so I hope chewy stocks it forever!

Cat likes it, too

like it, no smell and easy to clean. We will continue to use this product, and the house delivery is so convenient.

Way Too Dusty!

This litter is extremely dusty & not healthy for cats to breathe in. I won't use it for my cats.

My Preference Over Clay Litter

I've used pine litter almost exclusively with my cat for the last 7 years and it is by far my favorite litter to deal with.

do not recommend

I actually didn’t buy this from chewy but I primarily buy all my pet supplies so I figured I’d warn fellow pet parents? I wanted to like this litter I think the clumping and odor control are great but it is SO dusty. Worse than clay litter. No way this can be good for their respiratory systems.
