I love this product. They are easy to use and comfortable for my German Shepherd dog. The grip fits nicely in my hand. It’s sharp and clips well. The file works great.

Does not cut the nail easily. Takes too much force and ended up pinching my hand. Might be better for tiny dogs or cats.

I have used them on my both dogs and it was successful, I was worried it would be a lot harder to do, I was happy with them

Great nail clippers. Guard allows you to trim nails without the worry of getting too close to the quick.
Occasional Nail Splitting
on Oct 6, 2019
We have tried a couple different nail clippers and these seem to work the best so far. They are sharp enough to make a clean cut without splintering most of the time. We have had a couple instances of the nail splitting, but our dog does have a couple brittle nails. The dogs don’t particularly enjoy it, but it doesn’t cause any pain for them as far as we can tell. I would not recommend using the guard to prevent overcutting, we checked before using it and it went well past the quick on our small dogs (8 and 16lb Aussies). It’s fairly comfortable to use, although it could be a little more ergonomic (my husband has an easier time holding it than I do with my smaller hands).
Not for cats

Too big and thick and seems to crush the nails. My boy cat who lays docile in my lap when I cut his nails was meowing and pulling away when I tried cutting his nails. He is a big boy so his paws are good size still these nail blades are too thick. I even try on my female cat who is tiny it’s too clunky. Probably good for a dogs which need a stronger clipper. My fault for not paying attention to the size I can’t believe this is vet recommended for cats. Nail file is nice my cats don’t mind being filed but the clippers are no go.

Can't wait to use!

These clippers look great and I can't wait to use them. My dog's dew claws get really long and sharp as well as his "pointer finger" claw. I've used to file only and won't use the clippers until watching videos or speaking to a professional, but the file works great. I only had to use it for a few seconds and was able to file his nail pretty low.
So far so good

Just received this today and tried it on my jack Russell. It cut pretty clean and I loved having the file. I don’t need to use it on my German Shepard yet but I’m sure it would work well.
