Description

Cater to your kitty's grooming and scratching instincts with the Self-Grooming Arch Cat Toy. This unique tool is designed to gently comb through your cat's fur as she walks through the arch. This can help to reduce shedding and hairballs by removing loose strands before they stick to your couch or your cat's tongue as she grooms. The rug-like center is also just purr-fect for scratching—especially if you sprinkle tempting catnip over the carpet or inside the hole on the bottom of the base. You can also use the included catnip to draw your cat to the arch after you've brushed or bathed her to encourage a positive relationship with grooming.

Key Benefits
  • This unique arch is a self-groomer, massager and scratching surface all at once!
  • Ideal for kitties of all ages and coat-styles—because every feline loves a spa treatment.
  • May help to reduce the occurrence of hairballs by removing shedding hair before it ends up digested.
  • Includes a catnip sample, which can help introduce your kitty to her new tool.
  • Carpet base may help prevent your cat from scratching your belongings by satisfying her urge to scratch in a constructive way.

terrible assemly - do not buy

By barbarah on May 26, 2019

bought 2 of these for my 14 year old cats. No way possible to keep the brushes into the stands. Almost immediately upon brushing faces against them, the brushes fall over thereby spooking my poor cats. I have now zip tied brushes to furniture legs & if cats accept this rather unsightly setup I may keep them, but will be thinking long & hard about buying other enrichment items. Also case of food was $1.50 more expensive than another merchant that also delivers to my home.

    Fur trapper ?

By Fancynance on May 31, 2019

My Ragdoll Cat TUCKER has the more fur that most cats. I was looking for something he could rub against and this popped up. Had to try it ! It works pretty good when it together but it always comes off it base. So I keep putting it together till the next time. Maybe a better one will hit the market ? Great idea just keeps popping off it’s base.

    It falls over!

By JessesMom on May 10, 2019

The bristles are soft but firm enough to do their job. The base is a joke. It's thin, lightweight plastic and falls over as soon as the cat leans against it. I had to tie it in between the legs of our coffee table, so it would stay upright and the cats would use it. I will probably try to build some sort of heavy stand that I can attach it to.

    Our Cat's In Love!

    By Gin61 on May 10, 2019

Our kitty absolutely LOVES this toy! He nuzzles it, plays with it, uses it all the time. It's durable and the bristles are not too hard and it's easy to clean. It does tip over occasionally because it is light weight but it doesn't happen a lot. Overall a great product!

    Good value

    By KitKatX2 on May 26, 2019

Less one star as the brush doesn’t secure well to the base. My two cats like this. They are very vigorous and often knock the brush out of the base. They like to chew on it more than brushing against it.

    Soooo Happy

By Scherry on Apr 30, 2019

I'm so happy to find this!! I had one years ago that the base broke on so I threw it away. BIG MISTAKE since I could not find another till now. I should have made another base for it since this self groomer is the ONLY one my cats will use! Thank you chewy! I am ordering it RIGHT NOW!! LOL

    Great concept

    By Spooky on Apr 22, 2019 top250Contributor

I think Bailey will love this when he really figures out how to use it. Right now he just lays next to it and rubs his face and head against it...he knows it feels good and I am trying to get him to start walking through it. I think once he gets the hang of it, he will be walking back and forth all the time.

    My cats love it

By TobyC on May 24, 2019

My cats love it, the rub their faces and bodies all over it and use the bottom as a scratch pad. My only complaint is that the bristle doesn't stay in place, it needs a better anchor method.

Falls out of base too often

By Sabrina on May 13, 2019

I got the to replace an old one. It looked the same but was not as well made. No matter how hard you push the ends into the base it falls out. Maybe we got a bad one. I just wish I didn’t get rid of the old one.
