Key Benefits
  • Made with pellets of recycled paper, which makes for a smaller ecological footprint.
  • Ideal for everyday use, and the low-tracking formula keeps your kitty from leaving traces of his potty-time wherever he goes.
  • Eco-friendly litter is 3 times more moisture-absorbent than clay.
  • Utilizing recycled paper makes this formula 99.7% dust-free—so you and your kitty can breathe easy!
  • Light on your wallet, but tough on odors to keep your home as fresh as possible.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Instructions
  • Use a moisture-proof litter box. There should be enough room for your cat to comfortably turn around in.
  • Fill the litter box to a depth of 2 to 3 inches, with plenty of pellets for pawing and covering. Remember that Yesterday's News paper cat litter is different than clay cat litter. Having the litter too deep will make it more difficult to find and remove the soiled litter.
  • Liquid waste is absorbed from the bottom of the pan. It takes a few minutes for all the liquid to absorb.
  • Remove the soiled pellets when they have absorbed the liquid and have fully expanded in size.
  • Scoop solid waste from the top of the litter box daily.
  • Replace the litter weekly.

Additional Instructions

  • Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination.
  • Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.
Transition Instructions

Some cats switch from one litter type to another easily. Others require a transition. When possible, give your cat the opportunity adjust to Yesterday's News® prior to surgery.
