Great for the litterbox!

I got this to try for worms in one of my cats and read that it can be used in litter boxes. Haven't tried it for worms yet but it IS what I've been looking for in the litterboxes! I have 3 neutered male cats and no litter makes scoopable clumps of their urine. Baking soda helps but nothing made unbreakable clumps. Since using diatomaceous earth I don't have to sift forever when scooping the boxes. Clumps are firm and don't break into 1,000 pieces.

Do NOT put this on painted cement floors!!!!

So when we moved into new house there was a feral cat situation in the crawl space and had an out break of fleas. I read about this & thought I'd try this to see if it would help in case had same problem the following Spring/Summer so I made the HUGE mistake & put this all over the basement floor & in crawl space. OMG it's like this stuff bonded w/ the paint on the cement floor. I swept, vacuumed, used cleaners & scrubbed & scrubbed & STILL there is a white film/ speckles all over the floor. Floor has to be repainted. I'm still furious that this ruined floors. Oh & this stuff did nada what so ever to help w/ fleas & had another outbreak.

Haven't used it yet

The delivery for this item and another item was delivered and put on the porch as requested. I do like the way Chewy notifies you when it is delivered. I haven't used this yet but I am sure it is good, as I read about Diatomaceous Earth uses and thought it would be nice to have in supply.

Worked for aphid control

I got relentless green aphids on my plants this summer. Neem oil did not work. I use a "dustin-mizer" to spray an even cloud of diatomaceous earth onto them, from the sides and the bottom. That kills any that are there (not instantly) and keeps them off until it rains again.

Harris Brand Diatomaceous Earth A Blessing!

I use this in all of my pets food. I also, sometimes have for a few months at a time taken it myself for the many benefits to the human body as well. I have 3 feral cats, and 2 at home cats. They are all healthy, happy, and thriving. I believe their regular consumption in their food of the Harris Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth has greatly contributed to this. Any persons who have seen my feral cats are astounded with how beautiful and healthy they are. Thanks for offering this product Chewy at a very reasonable price!

Diatomaceous earth

I love this stuff. I use it on my deck to keep the biting ants from taking over the bowls of cat food.
