I just recieved my bottle of this. I was so exited to try it out after reading all of the previous reviews. I rubbed down both of my dogs and massaged a decent amount into them (boxer and min pin/chihuahua). It killed a few of them, and looked like it did the trick. However now their fur is dry and they're right back to itching and biting again. They're not even heavily infested or anything either. 9$ wasted and my house stinks of clove.

  • I think it works

The cans are bigger than I thought. I really think that this product works but I'm not for sure because either it worked or it got cooler but the fleas did died. Either way I believe it worked. My babies didn't like getting sprayed down with it but it didn't hurt them in anyway. Sprays easly so when doing your rugs and bedding it was easy. I would have to say I do recommend. I didn't think it smelled bad but my friend didn't like the smell

  • More like a bug repellant

    By on

I don't like putting harsh chemicals on me, much less on my cat, so I gave this a try. Scentwise, it's strong, but I advise possibly using less at first. How I used it was on my ankles because my cat's fleas were biting me, spraying a wash cloth and wiping her fur with it because she was afraid of the spray, and vacuumed her cat tree first and sprayed. This does work, just not long lasting. It's good for repelling, but dish soap is faster.

  • Kills on contact, use in combination

Upon moving into our new home, we noticed some fleas on our fur friends. They have always been on preventative, however, it did not seem to make a difference this year (which is a whole different problem). I purchased this product because i found it unique in that it could be used on cats, dogs, furniture, etc. I was skeptical, espeically because of the price. I left our cat's pet bed out on purpose overnight and in the morning found 4-5 fleas on it. I sprayed the pet bed directly and amazingly, within 20-30 seconds, the fleas were dead. I sprayed down the dogs as well, it reminds me of a dry shampoo. No residue or grease and the spray overall has an herbal smell (strong, but much preferred to a chemical smell like most products). We are still battling our problem, but in combination with preventative, flea baths, and a one time bomb, i think we are closing in on the problem. … more

  • Smells like peppermint!

    By on

I didn’t see any bugs die directly but it does seem to have improved my house related to fleas. This can does last at least 1100 ft.² and I would recommend it as a good alternative for any of the chemical sprays. All the peppermint made my house smell like Christmas for 12 hours!

  • Better than powder

    By on

I had used the Natural Care Flea and Tick Carpet Powder with diatomaceous earth in it previously and found this much easier and more comfortable(no choking on the airborne particles)to use. It is much easier to reach under furniture with the spray and doesn't leave a gritty feel in the carpet. I had trouble getting all the powder out of the rug, but this just left a pleasant minty aroma. I like that you can use it on dogs, cats, carpets, furniture, children (well, maybe not, but it is non toxic and wouldn't hurt if it did get on them). It seems to have done the job so far. I'm curious to see if it actually did kill the eggs as promised or if they will hatch and repopulate.

  • Simply doesn’t work

    By on

Reading the reviews of this product I wish I would’ve had the good experience; however, I found this product to not work at all. (Even though I would spray my dogs and my home every hour) I wouldn’t waste my money on this product again.

  • Don't bother, next...

Tried the product today and it really didn't do anything except make everything smell. Cat had a couple fleas and they were still hopping around all happy after several minutes. Even sprayed one directly and had zero effect.

  • Not for fleas

    By on

This does not keep fleas off. I think directly spraying it on the fleas works, but not after it dries. It might ward off ticks, he never has had one with or w/o it so I don't know. Very very strong, stays in the air, only spray outdoors and then get out of that area.

  • Not good but not bad

    By on

This product definitely kills fleas. The issue is you have to use it over and over again and does not prevent fleas from jumping on your animal. The one way it works it if sprayed directly onto a live flea. Also the smell is a bit much. My golden retriever hates it!!
