Is this as heavy-bottomed as the original Turbo Scratch? I want the lighted ball, but I like the weight of the original.
Answer by ChewyAug 22, 2018
The weight of the Bergan Star Chaser Turbo Scratcher Cat Toy is 1.15 pounds.

does it have pads on the bottom to keep it from sliding on wood floors
Answer by ChewyOct 27, 2018
This toy does not feature rubber feet but according to customer reviews, this toy does not slide around.

What are the colors it comes in?
Answer by ChewyNov 15, 2017
This product will come in either Aqua or Mulberry.

How do you REMOVE the scratching wheel to replace it? I can't figure out how without bending back a fingernail! :-) Is there a secret?
Answer by ChewyMay 15, 2018
There are four plastic tabs that hold the scratch pad in. Turn the toy over and there are holes beneath them. Putting your finger through the holes, push the cardboard in. Usually just pressing in on three of them, you can slide the pad out.

must have toy

all 10 of my kitties loved this toy with two getting on opposite sides and batting the ball round and round. My greatest joy was seeing an old feral cat I've brought inside to live out her life comfortably go bonkers playing like a young kitten - making the ball go in opposite directions and pouncing on it as it passed her. The flickering light particularly fascinated her.

Favorite Toy in the House

We just got 6 month old kittens and this is BY FAR their favorite toy. They play with it all the time. We have seen them start and stop the ball in all sorts of ridiculous ways. The only downfall is that they were able to get the ball out so then we had to go on a search to find it again. I would definitely buy another one though if for any reason this one got ruined.

Best cat toy!

Having cats all my life, I’ve become used to trying to buy new actual cat toys, but instead see them be more interested in the box it came in. I bought this as an accessory to another Bergan piece and I’ve never seen my cats more entertained by an actual cat toy! We were so surprised they actually loved it! It’s out of stock now, but we will be buying another one when it comes back. Would highly recommend!

Feral cats play too

Converted sun room into place for 3 TNR feral’s including litter boxes cat tree warming huts eating area, pop in door with in/ out flap. They love this toy. So cute to see them batting the ball back and forth together

They love it

Have 5 cats and they all enjoy it. Nice size so they can sit in the middle and play.

One of the favorites

Harlem plays with this day in and out. I keep it out and have yet to rotate it with other toys. He scratches the pad but also has found many ways to play with the ball. My friend came over with her 3 year old son, and he enjoyed It as well. He played with it for about 3O minutes, while Harlem gave him the side eye. lol I am very pleased with this toy!

Finally, a toy kitty loves!

My 9 year old kitty is finicky, but this toy has kept his interest longer than any I have purchased.

ball jumps the track

My cats love both the scratcher & the ball but the ball stays in the track for only about 24 hours & then it’s gone. I’ve replaced that ball at least half a dozen times. Tried ordering a new chaser but it had the same problem. Great toy if they can redesign it to keep the ball in place.
