    Optimistic

By Ravensar on Mar 20, 2021

One defuser wasn’t cutting it, so I bought a second. Covers the areas where the cats spend most of their time. Since our male cat died, our two females have been fighting. After a week, the fights seem to be decreasing significantly.

    Calming deffuser

By Catsintrouble on Jan 8, 2021

Simba, indoor neutered male cat, was moved from a second floor apartment, where he saw no other cat but Sticks, whom he lives with. Now he looks out of his first floor house window and sees the neighborhood gang of cats. He started getting mean and spraying, which he never did. This has stopped his spraying but he is still rough. Might or might not try for a longer term

    Doesn’t make much difference

By Meow on Dec 29, 2020

Used as directed, but unfortunately didn’t notice much of a difference for kitty’s behaviour or stress levels. Perhaps it doesn’t work well for less severe cases where effects are less pronounced. Worth a try, but had zero effect for us.

By donadee on Nov 17, 2020

My two female cats have been at each other. Thankfully after a couple of days, they have calmed down and some. I am looking forward to the day that they can be in the same room together!!!! LOL

If Feliway doesn't work for your cats, give this a try.

By ChrisPV on Aug 8, 2020

Our cats just don't respond to Feliway at all. However, we've had much better results with Thunderease -- we've used it before (via vet recommendation). Currently two of our cats (Faramir & Shell) have erupted into a major spat; we've had to keep them isolated and reintroduce them to each other as if they're new to the household. Thunderease has worked wonderfully to keep them calm while they're in isolation, though the spats are still erupting when they see each other -- to be fair, it started before we got TE again, and our other furry ones have been staying remarkably calm since we got TE running, despite Far & Shell's fuss. Shell has issues with attachment; she normally gets very upset if Our cats just don't respond to Feliway at all. So this IS a good recommendation: if there's a major cat spat happening, TE alone won't help, but it DOES help as part of the overall solution. … more

    Helps aggressive kitty behavior

By Audi on Jul 21, 2020

We have three kitties and sometimes they get a little aggressive so our Vet recommended a diffuser and it seems to be working. The only drawback is that it's supposed to last a month and I'm going to have to replace it by the end of the week. It has only lasted 3 weeks.

Irritated my throat big time, but works for cats

By Furmom on May 4, 2020

I had been using another brand of these diffusers for a while without issue, but decided to try this brand since it was cheaper. First I'll say that these do work to calm my brawling kitties, however I seem to have developed an adverse reaction to them. I developed a cough and sore throat/irritation that would not go away, and my doctor (who I saw more than once for this) couldn't figure out the cause. I finally noticed that any time I was around one of these things, I would go into a major coughing fit. I decided to unplug them and after a day or two, for the first time, I was barely coughing! To see if it was just my imagination I plugged them back and and the cough came back full force. I tried this experiment three times just to be really sure (I didn't want to accept the fact that I could no longer use them!), and the same thing happened every time. It even happened when I re-tried the other brand I was using, so it's not just this brand. I wanted to post this review in case others out have the same experience and wonder if it could be linked to these diffusers. I'm happy to be cough free now!! … more

    ThunderEase to the rescue!!!

By Becca on May 30, 2020

We got a new kitten last week. Our 9 month old cat hated the new kitten. She stalked her and ate her food and beat up on her constantly. I bought this diffuser is hopes of some peace between them. In 2 days they are grooming each other and napping together. I thought this union was hopeless. Thank you ThunderEase. You saved the day.

    Helps control excessive meowing

By Tara on Feb 9, 2020

I purchased this hoping that it would help my cat stop meowing excessively, especially during the night. After having it plugged in for a couple of weeks now, I have to say there is some definite improvement. He still meows at times, but nothing like it was before the diffuser.
