13th Street Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer animal rescue in San Jose, California. We are dedicated to improving the lives of homeless cats and controlling their population by the use of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). TNR is an internationally-recognized, humane and effective program for reducing the population of stray and feral cats. In the past three years alone, TNR has contributed to a 25% reduction in the number of cats and kittens entering our local shelters. Our volunteers work with local vets and animal shelters to trap, vaccinate, spay or neuter cats, then return the animals to where they were found.
