About Us
A Paw and a Prayer Dog rescue is primarily a small dog rescue in the greater Chattanooga, TN area. We are a foster based rescue so all of our dogs receive love and care in a home setting while they are vetted and prepared for adoption. All of our puppies and adults are given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped before being adopted and the adults are also tested for, and if necessary, treated for heartworms. All of our adoptable dogs go to homes that have been screened to help ensure the best placement for the dog. We are an all volunteer run organization supported by donations and generous folks who donate their time or open their home to help dogs in need.
